I felt it was unnecessary to charge hotel guests for car park.Oakes hotel association with Applebee's restaurant which we found totally unsatisfactory in food, quality and service. The tv wasn't working very good,. the party down the hall at 3 in the morning but staff eventually took care of it. Charge you for Parking. we have travelled the world and cannot believe there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, this is a small thing but could make the stay much more comfortable. I do appreciate there was free coffee on the ground floor however this is inconvenient and we are typically english and drink tea not coffee. Slow check in - it took us an hour to check in and get to our room layout of the parking was poor room service was too expensive - little choice movies were too expensive layout of room was narrow - it felt somewhat confining would have liked to be able to see the falls from the jacuzzi tub no dimmer switches in the bathroom - too bright to relax in the jacuzzi tub shower stall too narrow not enough towels for two people water pressure too low - it took about 20 - 30 minutes to fill tu. Hotel needs refurbishment. In rooms Chair fabric was dirty and one chair arm was broken. A fridge would have been nice. Bed sheets were clean but could have been softer. For the money we expected better however Niagara Falls is a very expensive place. Very limited selection of channels on the television and the bathrooms are very noisy (toilet flushing and showers running). i didn't care for the beds.they were no diffrent than a 30.00 room bed.the television did not have very many channels on it.and the ones it did were fuzzy.was also charged to park at the hotel.we paid $20.00 for 4 nights in advance.was also charged again $20.00 for parking on my reciept at our departure.$40.00 for parking in the hotel you choose to spend a few days in is not cool. Front desk staff was not gracious/welcoming. Lack of restaurant/bar wasan inconvenience.The room seemed rather sparsely decorated. There was only 1 chair next to the window. We dragged over the office-type chair from the desk so that we both could sit together and look out. There was a wad of hair on the floor in the tub section of the bathroom and in the sink area. It made the whole room seem not properly cleaned. Being on the 3rd floor did not provide a very good view of the water. staff were unhelpful and rude. We booked a niagra view, by the 3rd room we got one with a small window.I appreciate everyone wants a view of the falls, but make it clear onthe web site payng $500 us for 2 nights I had to pay more to get theroom I booked. I book something I expect it. I do not want to fly for 13hours adn then find I have nothing like what I book. Cobwebs in the corners, no faceclothes, extremely poor room makeupduring stay.
