We're here for the holiday and are very pleased with our accommodations and our stay. We have the Jr suite w/ the Jacuzzi in the room and we're really happy w/ our room - clean, cozy and comfortable, convenient to everything! We were able to walk to the Skylon Tower for dinner and we can walk down to the falls I'd we wanted to (which we might do actually). The service was very reasonable. Not super warm, fuzzy and friendly but indeed friendly, helpful, attentive none the less. I don't need ppl .
all reviews » We enjoyed the comfortable bed and tub. As well as how everything was centrally located. We also liked that we had a newspaper to great us both mornings of our stay. Our Previous stay we never received one, so this was a nice touch and something to look forward to after breakfast. Also, it was nice to come back to a freshly made up bed and our belongings rearranged. Price was very reasonable given the central location. Rooms were spacious and I really like the facilities such as both an indoor and outdoor pool, arcade room and gym. Also convenient to have the shower and toilet in a separate room from the sink. Pool and rooms were nice. Room was large. Parking was convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wego bus stop just across the street. Very close to most all of the falls activities.Booking through letsbookhotel.com gave us excellent room pricing. The Non Smoking feature at Marriott Hotels Well maintained Close to everything Had a small issue with room on arrival before we hung up the phone maintenance was at the door to resolve problem. Location was great you could walk to everything When we checked in we ask about where to buy an umbrella and they just gave us one great staff room was really nice the bed was great. Restaurant on site more up scale then for the average family. Elevators always a little slow. (Too few). Most local restaurants were crowded and pricey. Better to drive up ferry street or go out to queen street for breakfast or dinner. Can't think of anything. everything was great. Not having a microwave or a little freezer in top of fridge. Not having a small table with chairs to eat. letsbookhotel.com rate was not recognized at check-in. After check-in, lower rate was confirmed. Booked a mini presidential suite, but did not feel too special, except for a spa tub. If you don't need a spa tub, save money and skip the mp suite. the shower for the pool didn"t work,so the pool was a little cold. There was no microwave in the room and would of liked a room with a balcony, I realize they have no rooms with a balcony now. When entering the hotel the revolving door kept stopping while coming threw. Stopped a few times and was hit in the face twice by the door. Mentioned it the front desk. They told me there was something wrong with the door. Window view. The bed was hard. Not much all went good. Nothing. Need better pillows. We were disappointed because when we booked online one of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it said that there was complimentary breakfast offered and that was not the case. Paying for parking when we are already paying for a room at the hotel is a disadvantage. Charged for parking. Nothing to report. There was no wifi in our room the entire duration of our stay so everytime we had to go to the lobby of the hotel to get connected. Don't agree with having to pay a daily rate for parking. Already spending enough on the room, the parking should be included. The shower is small. The staff was RUDE I got the same lady checking in and out and she was NOT very professional. There was a tabletop dehumidifier of some sort on the dresser when we arrived. Not sure why it was still there. charged more than was supposed to. The fireplace didn't actually give off heat - it was just a light. Parking fee. view of building next door. Would have liked free breakfast. Market food were too expensive. Had to pay for decent coffee ath the Keg. No free breakfast. Repair to the rotating door, but then it had to be done at sometime!. The jacuzzi tube didnt completely work. The bed was terrible very used time for a new one and i wish they had of told us it was booked solid with kids hockey teams was up all nite as kids played hockey in the hallways. I will never stay at this hotel again as I have never had a $520.00 charge from a hotel. I guess this is a security deposit, as I don't know what it is I was not informed at check in or check out. My master card company has been informed of this unknown charge and I have spoken to Ryan at the Marriott to remove this from my card. As of yesterday it is still there. Not a happy senior citizen. The cleanliness of the room. The table in front of the couch was so dusty it looked like it had not been dusted in weeks. I also felt a bit misled by the en suite. From the advertisement we were expecting an ensuite with two separate rooms and not a huge room with the bed on one side and a seating area with an electric fireplace on the other!. beds were not confortable. pool could have been warmer....breakfast should have been included for the price. The Hotel is not budget-friendly...they separated every fee and taxed everything on its own. You paid for parking, no wifi like the site said it had...only wifi was in lobby which for some people it didn't work. No complementary breakfast. For the price you have to pay for the rooms. They didn't really care for the customers. Very poor Wifi connection.
