The room was beautiful and well thought out. The little spa bench in the bathroom was cool, the shower was great, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the desk space was functional and pleasant, the lighting was interesting and sort of glamorous, and the space to put my suitcase was perfect. The bartender who served me wine and heated my little dinner was attentive and thoughtful, and seemed perfectly tuned-in to the right level of interaction at any given moment. all reviews » Just like being in Europe - except they have face cloths and ice machines! Excellent value for the money, and 50 yards or so from the free people mover to the airport terminals - ideal for a layover in the center of the Canadian universe. Don't listen to those people complaining about the cost of the microwave food at the bar. Sure, it's overly expensive, but the monorail will take you to the airport for free, and there are 24 hour restaurants there - not gourmet, but Swiss Chalet, Timmy's, etc. The location, the beds, pillows and showers were fantastic, just what I needed for a quick overnight stay. Also liked 24hr access to snacks and drinks if needed and plastic cutlery that looked like stainless steel was really different and much nicer than the flimsy white plastic usually supplied. There was a discrepancy between what I was charged on my final bill vs what I understood I would be charged when I booked online but this was rectified immediately once I contacted the hotel. I would . I have stayed in many airport hotels but thought this to be the best. Although services were limited (no restaurant) it was not a problem with their Grab and Go Bar. The rooms were exceptionally well planned and the beds extremely comfortable. I also enjoyed the depth of the bathtub - you could actually get the water high enough to cover your body. The ammenities in the bathroom are top shelf. Staff very accommodating. The location couldn't be better with the terminal bus stopping right o. Very clean & quiet. We were at the airport within minutes. we were able to check in at 5am and grab some sleep .... since our flight from cuba was delayed...didnt experience more than the beds and shower :) but when flying out of pearson or into gta would definitely stay here for $$ and convenience ...being at the monorail ...rather than at sheraton gateway...thanks for the much needed sleep. I'm kind of a recluse when I travel on business, and my preference is to hole up in my room with room service dinner and wine from the mini-bar--but neither room service nor mini-bars were an option. My chicken satay-ish microwave meal was okay, though, and quite healthful, served with a china plate to put it on an hilarious silver-colored plastic flatware that weighed nothing but looked like metal. Didn't have a stopper for sink - and I don't like leaving the water running (pretty trivial beef, right?). Arrived at terminal 3 late at night and had trouble locating the Link Train shuttle service until someone took me right to it. Better description on the web site would be helpful. However returning to the airport in the morning was a breeze, and escalators led me directly to my check-in counter which was ideal. The lobby of the hotel, while okay, seemed very low key and bare compared to most other hotels where I have stayed. Nothing. nothing,....was positive experience. Lack of at least a coffee shop. I thought the prepared/packaged food was very expensive for the quantity and quality you received. I wish they had a restaurant at the lobby since the food bar didn't have too many choices. Glass wall between shower and main room reduced the privacy of the bathroom. Budget-conscious design leaves out coffee maker,. If I was wanting to have a shopping downtown experience this would not be the place but this hotel is perfect for the Eco conscious , perhaps budget conscious visitor who wants to do business in the airport vicinity or wants easy access to the highways. I did not find anythign that bothered me during my visit. Not being able to find real food to eat at a late hour and having to order outside the hotel. This may not have been a problem but I have allergies and food intolerances and most of what was available at the hotel were prepackaged foods that each had something I couldn't eat in them. There is nothing not to like for us. Lack of ice on each floor, but not a big deal. Location to restaurants without a car was poor. Faces long term parking garage so windows to room challenged your privacy. Hotel Parking lot is very inconvenient with no designated walkway from it to the hotel-under extreme weather, you are a mess. Very small room to navigate with suitcases. Would appreciate a coffee maker and a few amenities so I wouldn't need to unpack my bag. I would like to see some sort of loyalty program. Nothing. Some of the staff members were not as friendly as others. Food is also way too expensive and not worth the money. loved it all!. Wish there was still a room service option. No movies on demand. food selection limited somewhat missing some ambiance. No restaurant and choices to purchase food wasn't the greatest for me. Also, quite pricey. No restaurant on premesis. N/A. The food sucked. Nothing!. I would have enjoyed a nice quiet dinner, not student residence style food. There are no walkable options in the area so you're stuck. Selection for snacks and take up meals were a little to be desired. very limited and very expensive selection of items from the bar for dinner and breakfast. Not enough light in the bathrooms, especially around the mirror. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Not having a coffee machine in the room for early mornings. Crying baby/toddler from another room at 2am. Not the hotels fault but separating young families from other guess would have avoided this.
