Great Location to go on day trips from. Free WIFI, fridge, microwave and TV. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend for families/budget holidays. Noisy neighbours after midnight. the towels for the shower are too thin.Beds a bit hard and one of the TV's had no reception. Distance from parking. Garbage on bathroom floor. Inadequate electrical outlets. No light switch near the bed. Don't all students read till their eyes close? No cafeteria. Poor signage to registration for accommodation. I stay in university and hostel accommodations several times a year, usually in the uk or Ireland. Upei did not measure up. Overpriced. Very basic. We stayed in Brudenell Resort for $146 taxes in which was luxury compared to upei at $126. Should be in the budget category at approximately $75 per night taxes in. We were up at 9am and went to the cafeteria for breakfast only to learn that the cafeteria wasn't open till 10:30am far too late for breakfast. Should be open at 8am. Room was to cold and thermostat did not work only one blanket on each bed plus sheet. Hard to locate the residence on campus. No dishes or cutlery available. Walls in rooms were all torn up from posters that had been removed. It was a dorm room. No TV or hotel type amenities. Budget accommodations. The parking lot was quite a ways away. A little bit dark in the building. far away to downtown. Walls have been damaged, and it was not pleasant. The height of the rooms is not appropriate. The T.V. remote did not work. Very slow check-in Accommodation in different old building - poor directions Key did not work Bath light did not work Saw cockroach in bathroom Old room Poor soundproofing. Depressing room.
