The staff at this hotel were some of the nicest I've ever experienced. Also the location of the hotel was amazing. 2 short blocks to STephen Ave, the bustling street of shops and restaurants made it ideal. Ask for executive rooms on the tird floor that open on to the pool. Perfect!!!. Very close to C-train, fantastic if you are here on business. Lovely rooms. The room had a balcony which was great. Just great value for your money will defenitly stay here again.

None of the above. I booked the room because I was on my way to New York and wanted to stay down town Calgary. It was an ok hotel and the staff were very helpful. Very nice room. Clean. Relatively quiet. Great location for our purposes. Very spacious and comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff at front desk. The location was excellent! Close to shopping and LRT. They had a person go door to door giving out chocolate & providing ice. Very quiet and comfortable room. I was pleasantly surprised after reading negative reviews. I will definitely return. The hotel was in a great location and walking distance from the Calgary Tower, restaurants and shopping malls. Very happy with the Staff,food,room & location.. Very clean and good value for money.. Good location for the Rocky Mountaineer station. Well situated for shopping. Not too noisy. the rooms where clean and beds very comfortable, good staff and service, very helpful. the staff were excellent, friendly and very accomodating to anything I needed. Breakfast room service was awesome. Room temp. was too high for us so we opened the outside door for fresh air. There did not appear to be a way to adjust temp in the room. Because the shower/tub is narrow I would have loved a hand bar to hold onto when getting in and out of the shower---senior citizens need a little stabilization when on a wet surface. The tub mat could have been longer. Restaurant closed a bit too early for those like myself that arrive later in the evening. The room gave the impression of being a bit old fashioned and was poorly lit. None. i didnt like that when we arrived at the hotel they didnt have our bookings, after a few hrs of looking and me showing them a copy of the bookings from online they contacted bookings.com and found that they didnt send the confirmation threw to the hotel. this was inconvenient as we didnt know the city and had to wait. nothing. I didn't have a fridge and it was an executive room. Would of been nice. Quite expensive. Stains on the bathroom stone floor. Breakfast expensive and food cold , scrambled eggs awful and toast cold Staff not good at explaining room cost confusions Swimming area did not look inviting. I couldn't see my face and hair as I was doing them in room 308 because the lighting in the bathroom was poor. WIFI was weak at times. N/A. 1. Hallway smelled a bit old and musty 2. Political demonstration in the lobby while there. 3. Pool was not clean (beer can floating in the pool and ladies bathing suit bottom in the pool); also no idea where pool towels were. Rooms too hot Decor a bit dated Restaurant not very good (quality or service). -older facility, slow elevators. Food was soso. The bar/restaurant. It wasn't very appealing to look at, and there wasn't really a bar. I went elsewhere to eat and drinks. would have been nice to have a small fridge. Lack of on site parking. no chair in room to watch tv. Nothing. Charged for parking even though I never requested or used . Still waiting to get this charge deleted from my bill. Most Hotels have a continental breakfast included and the Ramada did not. Better Air Conditioning, a small fridge would be nice (this is the only hotel that I have stayed at in the last few years that does not have one). Heating in rooms tricky to regulate--often too hot or too cold. Lobby and dining area dark, in need of a refresh. Rooms are dated. Staff knowledge of the city was poor, some staff were pretty cold, rooms were pretty run down, walls fretting, paint peeling, water damage in bathrooms etc. Leaking seals on doors and windows producing very cold drafts!. somewhat dated and check in staff wasn't too attentive. Impossible to adjust/regulate the temperature of the room : central AC!. Price No Mini Fridge Room didn't feel spacious Not enough lighting in the room. price. Used the parking underground, and had $170 worth of things go missing. The car park was supervised 24/7.
