The hotel is in a great riverfront location with good dining in walking distance. We enjoyed the balcony with direct riverside view, watching the street life pass by - a cold Angkor beer in hand. The aircon was brilliant for those acclimatising to the tropics. Staff were friendly and cleaned our room and actually finding my lost watch down by the bed and placing it on the night stand. After a big night on the town, all we wanted to do was nurse our sore heads, but the noise meant we needed to find a quiet place elsewhere during the day. Staff didn't inform us of what they were about to do in the next room, just smiled to us as we left. The hotel has seen better days, and the renovations meant they're upgrading the rooms. Our bathroom needed some serious attention. (a) I am not young and I stay on your 3rd floor. Climbing up and down is a kneel pain for me and I gave the first floor room to my friend; also an old chap not good at the kneel too. Pls have lift or assign us the low floor or at least on the same floor. (b) The wifi is slow. Nothing!. small room without window, no elevator. they had construction going on inside the hotel - I feel they should not have been open due to this. Problems getting internet in room. they was no lift. no lfft. Third floor steps. no elevator and steep stairs - a little run down but it is reflected in the price. It was not convenient without elevator. We had to keep the curtain closed due to a stairway out of the window of the city view room. The hotel was way too expensive for the value. The hotel was not attractive inside. It was ok for the price. no lift, staff had little english, room was very basic. Overpriced. You pay for location only, and you pay to much when a Tuk-tuk only costs around 1 USD per person.
