  All front desk staffs speak good English. Since this is a business hotel, rates on the weekend was cheaper than the weekdays. Use a yellow taxi if you go to tourist spots. They are honest and you pay by the meter. I used a car service that hotel offers when I visited steel plants that are far from the hotel. It is safe near the hotel. I don't reco... what people say » mmend you going to narrow streets that can be blocked by both sides easily. People outside the hotel don't speak English. - Great location if you want to hang around in Lapa. Very close to the metro station so you can easily go to Copacabana and Ipanema as well. The staff has been very helpful and let us check in much in advance. Thank you!

  Very nice hotel. Very clean and neat!, My Room had a beaufitul view of the beach. Breakfast buffet was excellent! (hot and cold). The lobby is very pretty. The Swimingpool area in the 39th floor has a wonderful view of Copacabana, and Sugar loaf! The location is also very convenient. just cross street of the beach and many restaurants close b... what people say » y. If you want to visit Ipanema may take a taxi, walk or rent a bycicle half block from the hotel. If i go back to Rio I will stay in Windsor Atlan - Amazing views of Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado mtn. From 33rd floor corner room. (Request a high floor for best views). There is even a view of the mountains from the bathroom! Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean, quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.
