  We liked everything about Le Meridien Bruxelles. It provided a comfortable base for our six days stay in Brussels and the location was absolutely perfect for us: right opposite the Central Station from where we took the train to Bruges and Den Haag, within five minutes walk of the beautiful main square and ten minutes walk of the Museum of Fine A... what people say » rts. - Staff were excellent, friendly and proffesional. Internet rate were reasonable for a 5 star hotel, 1st 3 hours free, then per minute up to 45 minutes then per day. Check in was quick in less than 5 minutes, check out was the same.

  On arrival at the hotel (3 hours before official check-in) we were warmly welcomed, our luggage stored and given a map and some advise on exploring the local area. We returned around 4pm and were directed to our room, the room was immaculate, and the bed very comfy :-) We had read a few conflicting reviews about the hotel when booking and I have t... what people say » o say (having worked in 5 star hotels in the UK for 15 years) I could not fault a thing! If we are to return to Brussels I would not look anywhere els - Great location! Very close to the centrum and train station. The hotel is surrounded by several great bars and restaurants. Staff was very professional and accommodating. We arrived after the kitchen quite late and the bartender/receptionist were very helpful in providing late night snacks and drinks -- great staff! Free wifi with reasonable speed. Breakfast was great, although a bit expensive (20 euro) if not reserved in advanced.
