Although we were booked into a room on the 7th floor (and not 1st or 2nd as I requested) the receptionist was happy to change us immediately, and we had a very comfortable and spacious room on the 3rd floor, which was fine. It was very quiet too. The breakfast was fantastic ! And restaurant was excellent too, and staff very friendly and helpful.

I've been in this hotel many times for business trip. The position of the hotel is perfect. Close to the city center (grand place etc.) and close to central station. Very very close to "La morte subite" serving the famous flavored beer and to the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert (glamour shopping arcade). Free wifi, clean room (I don't like the choice of the colors of some rooms... too brown, but it is a very personal judgment). Great breakfast! Many good options (and I'm Italian and picky!).

It was a wonderful hotel. The room was huge with a huge bed as well and with an excellent view of the city. Very clean and comfortable. I liked the quietness, overall noise isolation is fairly good (city center outside is noisy; the elevator is almost unhearable, and so was the fridge or noises of other guests)
the hotel reminds "the old good times", good for those who prefer "a soul" and cosy room instead of room in sterile hotel chains
though the room was very small, it in fact contained everything a traveller needs (a table, a warddrobe, a quiet fridge, etc.)
