the price for the room is great. location, refurbished hotel. Location (15 min walk to Grand Place), 2 min from metro station Madou, reasonable price, good quality (nice rooms, good breakfast), wireless available free of charge. Reception opened 24h/24h. It is a comfortable and well situated hotel in a quiet part of Brussels. It is very near good public transport and easy walking distance from the European Parliament. But it was a quiet place where they put me and that was ok. And I was in mid town.the facilities in the room are kind of worn. The room was cold and I did not find a control. The shower corner was cramped.Room was pretty basic and shower water flow poor. my experience was not negative, but was not overwhelming positive either. The bathroom was really bad( with moulds on walls, yucks!!). No proper directions by public transport to get to the hotel given ( though the staff gave us info when we called the hotel). Not that value for money. no airconditioning in room (quit hot to sleep on 4th floor). The room was on special offer for €98 per night. regular price €300 - it's definitely not worth it. Slow wireless internet, no minibar with drinking water etc. The bread during the breakfast was unsatisfactory. Internet connection at the room was poor. No mini-bar in the room. Nothing to justify the price. Poor maintenance, e.g. hairdryer didn't work and handle fell off bathroom door. receptionist was drunk (but friendly) when I checked in, sad and run-down rooms, broken hairdryer, no heating in the bathroom, moulds on the wall, generally poor maintainance (with exception of the "public" areas),. cheerless room, very poor lighting. I received a room without bathroom or toilet. Faciliies were down the hall.
