The hotel is great excellent location 1 min from the central market square. The hotel rooms are modern and clean nice style bathrooms!! we were on the top floor and it was very quite but had to face the stairs! The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and places to go and see etc. They were very accommodating letting us leave our luggage and showing us the car park across the street! Not sure what that person is talking about in the review as they have private parking but it.
all reviews » Lovely big bed in a newly refurbished hotel. Great idea with portraying a ceiling of one of the numerous beautiful churches on the rooms ceiling. Very helpful reception staff. Lovely bar area and outdoor area. Somewhere really nice to have breakfast - even if you're staying there. Very central. really lovely helpful staff, recommended places to go,local restaurants and bars for us, we stayed in 3 hotels in bruges overall and this was our favourite, really interesting and fun designed rooms, everything you need, so close to the centre and everything is around you. Very close to the main market square. The staff were all very friendly and helpful all of the time. We were even able to check in four hours early. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Beds very comfy. Breakfast was ideal too. A great place to stay. Perfectly placed one street from main square. Brand new. Great staff. Brilliant hotel!!!!. The lift wasn't working. Which was a but of a problem for my wife's elderly parents. But this is going to be fixed. No car parking is a bummer. W walked 1.5 kms to hotel but it saved us money on car parking, outside the blue zone. TV on wall a little tight in corner. Bumped head a few times but reposition it carefully and you're good to go. W could have done without the Elephant upstairs but you get that in hotels. The paper thin walls and some street noise. The street outside echoed at night but noise was to be expected being so close to the centre. The hotel is currently under renovation, so the front facade is under a tarp and the lift is not working yet. -Very strong "toilet" smell in the room. The room was very clean though. -Elevator not working yet due to the renovation, but that will change soon. - heating: the radiator was too small to make comfortable temperature in the room. The stairs but it's an old building and to be expected wouldn't stop me staying again. Glass doors of toilet and shower are not confortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be good but not hugely important. Toilet and shower separated by a glass screen, sink in main room.
