Floatel Diamond Princess

This steamship was built in 1952 and was named Hakön Jarl. It was used as a post boat at the coasts of Norway. Almost 5 years ago the ship moved from Oslo to Antwerp and began a new life as a Hotel Restaurant. After a complete renovation in 1997 and redecoration, Floatel Diamond Princess opened its doors.

Character. Great breakfast. Good location. Comfy bed. boat is not far from center, but it was very quite during the night (even though the other half of the vessel is a club/brothel!), breakfast was nice, room was clean.Peculiar location, nice view... the area around it was a building site so a bit messy, the room was very small and the remote controle didnt work, even after changing it twice...night staff wasn' t really service orientated.all reviews »
filthy carpet and tiny bed and bathroom. Small room, windows are not insulated and heating doesn't work, dirty,old furniture.

The authentic cabins have been kept in its original style for the 1 and two person rooms. Do not expect large rooms, but modest functional bedrooms with television, minibar and a small private bathroom with shower and toilet. On request there is an internet connection available. Some cabins have been combined for a more luxurious feeling and more space.
