  It was a delightful experience. While reading some of the reviews priorto being there I did have a few concerns. But after having been thereand experiencing first hand none of those negative comments applied. Wethought the staff was more than accommodating, the parking was veryconvenient and most easy to access. The room was great and even thoughit... what people say » overlooked the st. We experienced no noise. - The Star Hotel in Salzburg was brilliant! its location to the city,via a walk through a pedestrian tunnel puts you within a hundred metres of the main shopping area.Our room was spotlessly clean and although it overlooked the main road into the city we did not experience any roadnoise.The staff were always very polite and smiling(a rare commodity these days).
