So you need any help or guid - Spacious airy bedroom with MAGNIFICENT views. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable leaving you totally chilled out. Sauna was a big bonus to ease aching bones after long hikes. Klaus the owner was invaluable with his local knowledge on beautiful treks and advise on routes to drive and sights to see. His recommendations were 10/10. Close to all restaurants and the little town too but very tranquil....only noise were from the ducks and swans in the lake.

Location of the apartment is good once you are in the hallstatt.It is very near to the bus stop but a bit far from the ferry's stop.If you have luggage, I would recommend to book a cab/taxi.It is about 15 min walk from ferry's stop.   My sister and I loved our stay in Hallstatt. We were upgraded to a junior suite on the top floor of the main house - with a very convenient elevator not far away. We had stunning views of the lake and parts of the town from our little balcony. The room was very spacious, crisp, and clean (I think it is one of the rooms pictured on the website). You wouldn't have known that though as they cleaned up very quickly. Our room was divine. Luxurious, comfortable, and extremely clean. The view of the lake from our balcony was breathtaking. Fresh trout - Friendly staff who spoke English fairly well, a clean room with a partial view of the water and town (and the next building) and a great restaurant downstairs.   To complain about the location of the guesthouse is non sense. It is quietly located in a narrow road besides a river. We enjoyed walking every morning to the centre of Hallstatt, and as the description says, it is just a 15 min walk away from the centre. Service was superb, very kind staff. Room clean and fresh each day. Parking not a problem. - ... what people say » We got a very big room on the 3rd floor. The room is clean with fridge and separated toilet (not with the bathroom). The owner lady is very kind, friendly and useful. It's located in a quite area next to the cable car to the salt mine. Definitely recommended.

  Very cosy and homy hotel with a long-long history. We have booked a room with a nice lake and mountain fantastic views. We have arrived late in the evening and the owners were waiting for us. Despite the fact that parking in the city is allowed only in special parking lots outside the center of the city (one should use free of charge shuttle bus)... what people say » we had an oppurtunity to park our car just at front of the hotel door.
