Absolutely everything...from the moment we were greeted by the porter to the time we got into the elevator (seriously couldve stayed in there all night and have my own dance party!!) . But then when the doors opened to the lobby, my face dropped, I could've cried! ...It was the most spectacular lobby I'd ever seen. The aesthetics was like music to my soul! I wanted to live there for ever. Loved the quirkiness, the ecclectic decor, the fun yet luxurious feel it offered. And then we went to our r. all reviews
We loved everything about the QT Hotel. We didn't want to leave. We arrived mid morning and were surprised that we were able to go directly to our room. We had expected to store our bags and come back later. We were then told that we could have full internet access at no additional charge. We had selected breakfast daily as part of our QT experience and was pleasantly surprised when it was a la carte and we could order anything we liked. We also enjoyed the freshly made juice. A very nic.
We really liked the concierge, they were so helpful and nothing was a bother..fantastic, well done Jay, Steve and the beautiful young lady with firey red hair!! The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in..after a long drive, it was so good to have a good night's sleep. The breakfast was great as was the staff, I felt very safe with the security that was present at the bar at night. Very happy!!! Thank you.
Decor best ever. Love the sliding mirror wall to the bathroom so could
have plenty of natural light from Market St. Also love the glass
decorative wall. Bed comfortable as was seating. The shower was lovely.
The building is lovely, lift music quirky and fun. Staff incredibly
friendly and charmingly helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Location
perfect. Free Internet great.
My boyfriend and I loved this hotel. It was quirky, different and the attention to detail was outstanding. Not only were staff welcoming but the location was perfect. Only a short walk to Pitt street mall and down the street from darling harbour. We will definietly be staying at the QT again. We have stayed in many hotels in Sydney, but this by far, was our favorite.
The whole experience was 5star! Love love loved the customised lift music - made me smile everytime i used them. They have the most ah-maze-zing beds I have ever slept in!! The rooms, service, location was perfect for me- close to work, shops & nightlife. I will be back again in January and have been raving about hotel to friends and colleagues!.
everything , the creativity and design . lots of extras in the room . there is a long list . way ahead of other hotels in this top end price range. the bed was superb , best ever .. could have stayed in the hotel all day . bar and restaurant excellent . staff great . all in the heart of sydney. this will be my preferred sydney cbd hotel.
Quirky decor but really fits the setting. Our room was excellent, so well appointed and luxurious although I am sure we received an upgrade as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Great location for Darling Harbour, city shopping and the Sydney Tower. Loved it and would definately stay again.
Everything! It is great to go to a hotel that provides a different experience from the normal bog standard hotel room for the same price. Great location, excellent staff and just a really enjoyable experience where you do feel pampered! Thank you for thinking outside the square!.
Room was modern but with heaps of character- beautiful floorboards, furnishings and decorations, great bed and bath! Location was central which made it so easy to get around. Music in the lifts was an added bonus! Package with breakfast included was great value.
Both rooms I tried were very spacious, beautifully appointed, but very dark. Location was perfect, easy and central. Staff were flexible and helpful. It is very hip and cool so the atmosphere is fun and busy, but also makes it hard to get a drink at the bar!.
Quiet room in the middle of the city, very comfortable bed (I want one like that). Free wifi (many other hotels could learn something from that). Stylish decor, suitable to the period of the building. Very helpful staff. Lovely guest longe.
funky interior, very comfortable bed
great service from room service staff. There was a packet of crisps in the mini bar that i opened and then realised that they had expired. i rang and they were replaced with 2 complimentary packets.
Nearly everything! Friendly, helpful and fun staff, rooms well designed and respect history of the building, restaurant was great with beautiful food, café was excellent value for money and fun vibe.
Just the most perfect hotel. The rooms beautifully decorated with a fantastic attention to detail and loved the way the lifts selected what music to play!
Bar and restaurant great too.
The staff were highly professional and friendly. The decor was distinctive and added to a unique experience, without impacting on comfort. Location was great and accessible.
Very central location, rooms much more stylish than usual bland hotel fit-out, great service from the street to reception and on to bar/restaurant.
Will stay again.
Great room, great service, great food, great location, great value for money. Would stay again happily and would recommend to anyone. QT Sydney is First class.
Loved the unique design of the rooms and the comfort.
Concierge staff at the front door went out of their way to secure us cabs in the pouring rain.
Very funky and certainly different ... Wouldn't stay there regularly though. Bathroom was lovely.
Breakfast in restaurant was exceptional.
The art deco design and the quirky way the rooms were decorated is really appealing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
From the greeting at the front door, to the music in the elevator, the QT has customer service and attention to detail totally sorted.
Great experience. Staff went above and beyond. Food was fantastic and loved everything about the place - little quirky but so stylish.
Location was the best for shopping and access to trains.
Bed was super comfortable .
Staff at front desk excellent to deal with.
Great location and quirky decor. We had an amazing weekend at the QT and are dying to come back . There is nothing we could fault.
Presentation of the room was fantastic, rose petals included. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture was very funky.
Great location. Very close to shops and the Sydney Tower. The hotel is quite suitable to fashionable young. Love the style.
The vibe, design and attention to detail in everything from finishing touches in the minibar to the lift music was fabulous.
Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff in a perfect location for walking the City. My daughter and I enjoyed our 2 night stay.
The lifts! Very cool and quirky sensor music. The room was designed beautifully as was the lobby, restaurant and bar.
Cool factor
Musical lift that plays different songs based on number of passengers
Spa / Hamam / Barber shop.
Location was fantastic and the hotel was very nicely decorated. Food great. Staff were also very helpful.
Everything was absoluly amazing! Chic boutique hotel with impeccable service. Best hotel I have stayed at.
Attention to detail, positive and helpful staff
Fantastic design through out
Unlike any other city hotel.
Well designed, modern features
Great minibar / quirky drink choices.
Best hotel in sydney i have been to.
Beautifully decorated! This hotel is classic yet hip.
Great staff with friendly service. Great location.
Everything! This place is amazing. design and detail. The feel and the room was absolutely immaculate.
Size of rooms, fit-out, free internet, package deal with dinner, value for money, great location.
Loved the hotel. Every one was lovely and service was amazing!! Room was also amazing! Thankyou.
Refeshingly different. Sets a new standard that other hotels should aspire to. Funky and fun.
The decor and design is amazing, edgy and fun!
Great facilities and a great experience.
loved the music in the lift and the great greeting you get at the door when you arrive.
funky and modern room, great location and friendly staff. free dinner was great value.
Loved the inner city feel to this property, a bit like staying in a loft in New York !.
The moment we got out of thecab, someone was there to assist us. The room was amazing.
Hip and fun. A breath of fresh air. Other hotels could learn a lot from
this place.
Very quirky , big rooms, big bed, big bath . Excellent quality and well thought out.
Great boutique style hotel, decorated beautiful. Location central and
staff great.
The room was lavish and stylish. Far more interesting than a regular hotel room.
It is an excellent hotel in a good location with quality service and facilities.
That I had to leave so soon!!!!.
Not applicable. Everything was above and beyond our expectations.
Nothing not to like!.
The price was a bit too steep at $460 per night for one person ( as of
course the price covers 2 persons but I was travelling alone). I would
not have chosen but accomm was difficult to get. Was a lovely treat
though so worth it for that.
The only crisitism was the man filling the mini bar kept entering the room with just one knock and just let himself in. This only happend twice, so this didnt hinder the experince, plus he was very nice about it.
nothing . have already recommended this hotel to business colleagues
this Hotel is a breath of fresh air.
Owners /managers to be congratulated.
Only fault we could pick was housekeeping didn't replace our floor & hand towels and we had to call 3 times to get some brought up.
Absolutely hated the fact that the very large centrally placed ancient passenger and staff lifts made a huge amount of noise. I changed rooms to one as far as possible but could still hear the constant loud clunking every time the lift was used.
Wait to get the car from valent parking.
out of date crisps in the mini bar
reception staff rather disinterested.
Bathroom was dark.
nothing.
Only had two nights there and on my own, will have to go back and share the experience.
Nothing to fault.
The deposit of $200 for incidentals took over two days to be credited back to my account. Whilst generally all staff were helpful I found front desk staff to be lacking a friendly and welcoming demeanour.
Lighting was atmospheric but not very functional. Nice for the first day but then annoying.
Staff were very friendly but check-in seemed disorganised - they forgot to bring our luggage to our room!
Lack of pool and gym make this a hotel at which I wouldn't regularly stay.
The bath is way too small to actully use as anything other than for a child or very small adult but other than that, the bathroom is well set out. A really bright light in the bathroom would be useful, those installed are stilll a little dim for make up application. The lights in the room could also be a little brighter, I found it difficult to read anything other than directly under the bed reading light.
Leaving.
Nothing.
Two very small things
Ticked for courtsey newspaper on checkin was not delivered next morning.
Additional 2 bath towels would of been nice.
Have to check in after 12am. It would be perfect if could check in earlier , since we booked the room.
We were unable to open windows but the room was quite apart from the fact we were beside the lift and that noise was very annoying!.
No full length mirrors in the room.
Ordered Ice for room which never arrived
Would be nice to have a rooftop pool.
Our room was on the small size.
Bed was a little too soft for my liking but still amazing.
All was good.
Asked if there was parking and was advised I can just pull up and my car will be taken care of. Being passed a 70 dollar bill when checking out for it was very dissapointing considering it is a 5star hotel and just an overnight stay.
Staff pushed to the max. Understaffed for a five star hotel.
Bed was a little too soft. But that's being fussy ;).
Parking is a bit difficult, but it was only a small inconvenience given it's amazing location.
The fact that my room wasn't ready and they said they would ring when it was and didn't....also I had to wait ages for my luggage to be brought up...the girl at the desk eventully brought it up to me.
no negatives. Had a great stay.
We didnt stay long enough!.
Leaving.
Couldn't check in earlier then 2 , didn't feel it offered somewhere particularly peaceful to rest until that time and when finally in my room a guy walked in. Appears he was given my room key. Obviously they apologised.
Possible over priced but it was a weekend but still paid over $300 for a
standard room...without breakfast.
It was all very good.
