I loved everything about my stay at Manly Beachhouse. Dev and Shanti were wonderful hosts and even with a large group of us, they were excited to have us stay with them. They could not have been more accommodating.
Short drive or cab ride to Manly Corso & main beach area. 800 meters walk to northern Manly beach area. Staff friendly and there was an adequate area outside your room for coffee making and eating a take-away meal or preparing a light meal. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean. Good lower cost alternative for a night or two in Manly. Free internet was always available and reception was excellent.all reviews »

Accommodation near Manly Beach is very expensive so value for money here is hard to find. Manly Beach Hotel provides a room with a bed and small en-suite bathroom. Room not decorated in any fashion, no AC, no TV or telephone. Advertised parking was available but not very convenient as you likely would have to wait for someone else to move their car for you to arrive and/or leave. On street parking was usually available within a block or two.

Sorry...have been traveling overseas form11 months and just find the value for money in Australia to be appalling. The room was tiny, filthy skirting boards etc., it was boiling hot with no fan or air conditioning, the open window of the room next door meant that we didn't get a minutes sleep due to his loud snoring....and the road noise. Pay the bit extra and stay in a proper hotel! This place is a backpackers and costs far too much for what you get.
