A wonderful location, truly excellent pricing, big room, lovely manager - couldn't be more impressed. Location for airport - our need - just excellent - a clear run straight through - will tell all country friends it is perfect for eating, shopping, proximity to city - just perfect.Nice friendly staff, very clean and good rates. Nice and central to everything in Sydney. all reviews
Nice and handy. Bus stop opposite!. little kitchen equipments. It is near with city and public transport is very easy. Chinatown and Paddy's market is very near with the hotel. The hotel room also equipped with microwave oven, toaster, kettle, and essential kitchen ware. very good. Was expecting an old hotel but pleasantly surprised at the new furbishings and cleanliness of the room. Would recommend it to anybody. Value for money. close to public transport. Microwave, crockery and cutlery supplied. big room, clean, good value for money, helpful staff. Near the Railway Station, not far from Airport and Sighseeing things like the Opera.Accessibility to where I needed to go.Friendly Staff. Location. It is in a very useful place. 8 minutes walking to the Central Railway. The room is big enough and is confortable. It doesn't have too rules about go in and out, (very flexible).close to the station and convenient for where iwas attending a meeting. it was clean. I was booked for four nights. The hotel refunded me half my pre-payment, when I wanted to check out three days early. I was grateful that they did, as I was not happy with the room.Convienience of location. Owners/reception was quite helpful with transport queries.Pillows. No tin-opener! Not enough crockery/cultery! Only one tea-spoon!. Yes . . the pillows were very high and inflexible. I would bring our own pillows next time, unless there were softer ones supplied (I know pillows are very much personal taste!!). At one morning during our stay, someone knocked our door and before we open the door he already opened it with his own key. He came along with 2 women and said that they are going to do some inspection about the room or whatever it is. Luckily all of us already dressed up. the distance from the central station was bigger than i expected - 10 min walk, moreover through area of sydney which is not very safe, thus i wouldnt recommend it to women travelling alone. I specifically asked, in writting, when making my booking for a room NOT facing the street to avoid trafic noice, I got one facing the street! I live on a farm, trafic noise keeps me awake. The tap in the room leaked and I had to rig up a way of masking the noise.Could do with a breakfast service. Too many steps - no lift. I didn't like the pillows, very big. The bed could be less soft. I recommend more options for pillows.non availability of meals especially breakfast. A bit far from the attractive place. Need your own transportation to most of the place. The bathroom was in poor condition. The road noise was objectionable... and this was despite having requested a quiet room in my booking. There was a slight miscalculation of my refund amount in their favour - which I pointed out - but frankly I was happy and grateful to receive some money back (which was a big plus), and be able to leave. Was extremely disappointed that even though I had reserved 'secure'carparking spaces directly through the hotel 4 weeks ahead of schedule, was told upon arrival that they had no such places held and could notaccomodate our cars and there was nothing they could do about it. Had nochoice but to park on the street.Room had been recently painted but not aired. Room stank of paint. Shower head was not adjustable and water was aimed across not down, hitting myself and my friends in the throat.Bed sheets were not changed until we asked the staff. There were also many small cockroaches in the room. A person at the reception, a was particulary unfriendly when I rung the bell at 9:20pm to ask where shall we leave the key, as we wanted to check out early in the morning at 5am. The cleaning lady was however very friendly and always smiling.
