  Cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. The place has clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently rare in Australia where most ac usually only cools a room. The room was large, very clean, the shared bathroom down the hall, which is usually the wo... what people say » rst part of any hostel, was spotless. The restaurant was very well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was very good. - The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there, my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!

  My room is 306, the room is clean, tidy and pretty quiet too. I like it very much! The reception ladies are friendly and helpful. But only one person to serve in the evening time seems under pressure.   The kitchen is big and well equipted. The room is clean and the security is awesome, there are security camera everywhere in public area. There is a wifi room you can use wifi which is great.   Everything is close. The backpacker is more like a villa. Stayed in a double room, was very good and spacious. There's a calm bar inside. Left my bag there after check out without problem. - The hostel was very clean and spacious. We were on an 8 bed dorm and it was fantastic with great facilities.   Best backpackers I've ever stayed in! Staff are outstanding, the place is so clean, beds are good and rooms are decent size, they have a nice balcony area which you can relax or socialise in, good kitchen and they put on free breakfast for you too! Really close to everything, pub downstairs which gives you cheaper drinks if you're a guest (and you... what people say » can't hear any noise either from upstairs if you want to sleep!), main street right outside, beach is a stones throw away, all in such a perfect litt - The manager is very friendly. I booked weeks ahead not realizing i had to check in on good friday. When I arrived at 10pm, the manager still answered the phone and opened the door to let me check in. And he drove me to the airport for free at 7am the next morning!

  Very welcoming staff, nice facilities including kitchen, laundry, bar, pool.. The family room was very clean and comfortable. Although is a little far from downtown, they offer rides. Free wifi. - The quiz night was fun.. And it was the only day you can see more than 15 peaple in the public area
