With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. It was very quiet being off the main road and the upstairs rooms are shaded by treetops. -

The hotel is located in beautifully landscaped grounds with access to numerous swimming pools and the beach. We had a ery spacious room with very comfortable beds.Excellent views over palm trees to Whitsunday Island from the large balcony. Very helpful and friendly staff despite being very busy. There is a fabulous free shuttle bus service which stops at the front entrance. The sea view rooms have the most spectacular view - waking up each morning looking out over the bay is an absolute joy!! Free wifi internet, available throughout the hotel and pool area, was a real bonus.

I personally can't say enough about this place. The lovely ladies at reception are so friendly and service with a smile. I was with my teenager daughter - I felt safe here. The apartment was fantastic and very quiet. Our views to the ocean were beautiful. We had a great time staying here and would have no hesitation in recommending Waves to anyone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The best coffee could be had at Mikki's just near the entrance to the hotel driveway...highly recommended for food, service, and of course coffee!

Trinity Beach is a lovely beach area not too far from Cairns yet easy day trips to all the sights in the greater Cairns area
Kitchen is very well equipped including shopping bags, esky, all the utensils, pots and pans you need. The apartment also had washing machine/dryer, aircon in all major rooms including bedrooms.

I cannot express how much of a perfect time we had at Roydon. From the pickup at the airport to the transfer back to the airport, everything was just as we had wished for but better. We have had the Appartement with two Bedrooms and balcony with Oceanview. The Sunrise was really great to see from the balcony!!!!
The Appartement was very big and very clean. The kitchen is well equiped.
We felt like home and Eddi was very helpful to orginized our day trips for us.
The Roydon is located perfectly at the beach and for day trips around cairns (Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda .....). It is perfect to stay with Children.
