I have stayed in many hotels in major cities Asia,Europe and usa and
Canada in the last 2years and this hotel is as good as any of them.If it
was in Milan,New York,Tokyo,Stockholm or wherever it would be the
"in"place to stay. The staff are very competent and friendly
.The rooms are very well appointed and stylish.The bar and restaurant
are very good and have a great atmosphere .And the location is
excellent. It is an excellent hotel.

The Park Hyatt is the best hotel in Canberra -but is probably the most expensive! It is ideal for conservative people who appreciate the Art Deco design the history - and easy proximity to key attractions (old Parliament House, national gallery, portrait gallery). -

We were pleasantly surprised about how nice it was. We arrived late and were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. It was new and there was plenty of room. The bed was big and comfortable and there was a large shower.

I hAve booked and paid for approximately 15 + rooms at ArIa over the
last 4 months and still Aria's software on which bookings are made
doesn't appear to recognise me as regular. I find this puzzling and
can only assume my business is not valuable to Aria.
Also Aria's 2 % fee for MasterCard payments is unfair, how else to pay?
staff's issuance of a merchant copy for signature prior to providing a tax invoice for checking is very poor.
My next booking of 5 rooms in 4 weeks will be elsewhere.

Superbly clean, even when using the eco-friendly cleaning option (by which you elect to reuse your linen and not to have powered appliances used to clean the room - a good option to have offered). We were contacted to advise they had had a cancellation of a twin room on the high floor (as I had phoned after booking to request this if possible). Reservations most helpful. Our view to the lake was amazing and only 5 mins walk to the Floriade we had come to see. We had sliding doors to a narrow balcony which allowed us to get freshair into the room and further enjoy the city and lake views which also included the Telstra Tower on the far mountain.
