The bed was comfortable, and it was a very convenient location to city and shops. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The size of the motel is reasonable large. The separate kitchen sink and bathroom is well-suited for twin sharing. Easy proximity to many places in Perth, close to freeway and shops for food. Heaps of cafes close by Good bus transport close by Value for Perth. staff friendly, especially cleaners, always say hello to you. Staff location easy parking clean quiet. I only stayed at the Lodge because my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we didn't want to have to drive home afterwards. Clean , neat,good parking, great location. The location for our purposes was ok as well as no problems in Parking and eateries in the vicinity. Local facilities. 1) Bed cover - A little too heavy. whats there not to like!. nothing. the hotel is not fancy or showy but is very good and we would look at staying again. You had to hold the toilet button down to flush properly. There isn't lift up to the 2nd floor room. Quite tough to carry the luggage bags up and down. The air-conditioner is not easily controlled. Old fashion type which makes noise. The room was not make-up for the 2nd day even though we stayed for 2 nights. Tight car parking bays, carrying suitcases etc upstairs. Would have liked to have a potato peeler!. would like a few mpre utensils in draw e.g. potato peeler. Lack of powerpoints in room. Didn't have a bath...and my room no.3 has no privacy out side door. Everybody can see and can't open curtain... can hear people in next room talking and tv. Room in need of updating -looked a bit tired. The boys - not having Foxtel to watch rugby. Unfortunate proximity to Kwinana Freeway and resultant traffic noise. Some people leave quite early and are inconsiderate of others. May be a reminder or awareness raising for those leaving early. One receptionist should find a job that makes her less unhappy. She was so sour it nearly put us off staying there. The aircon was very noisy. Bathroom fan unbearably noisy. Toilet paper is so thin it is a joke. There were no flannels in the bath room, bed was not good. The air conditioner was noisy with no remote control to turn on and off. Needed manual switch operation which one cannot do in the middle of the night. The room cleaners did not vacuum the floor when they cleaned on Saturday. No internet was available during the period of our stay. In this electronic age this is a very big draw back and no effort was made by the staff to provide any alternatives. This was a serious set back as we depended on internet access for our bookings, travel plans etc. Very poor air conditioner Badly serviced room.
