Great location. The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. Clean and comfortable room. Good facilities - the children used both the pool and tennis court. And a nice surprise when we found the use of the balls/racquets were free. Lovely grounds - clean, tidy and attractive. We didn't get to use the restaurant but the menu looked good. A comfort knowing the access/cars were so secure. our room was lovely.....it was clean, roomy & had everything we needed for our whole family....the kids really enjoyed being able to use the pool and tennis courts while we could watch them from our apartment...the staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was cleaned half way through our stay which was a lovely surprise !..... will definitely be back and recommend to others !.
all reviews » We are from the country so we requested a room at the back of the complex which we got. As a result we slept soundly every night due to the quietness in the area even though the apartments are on the edge of the freeway. The bed was very very comfortable. I m happy to rate this site as 10/10. We as a family had the best time, could easily live there, my 8 year old son keeps asking when can we go back, we can't holiday much so we hold on to our fun memories there, one day we will save to defiantly come back, the beds were so comfy, it just felt like home but with an awesome pool. It's close to the City & easy to travel anywhere whether in your own car or using public transport. The apartments have everything & with car parking included in the price, it's good value compared to many city hotels. Staff friendly & helpful. Good location for getting into town. Near freeway, but we were at the back so no noise issues. Great pool and very helpful staff..in particular when our air condition broke in 40 degree heat. Was fixed immediately. I like the apartment concept and the resort layout. The indoor heated pool ensure 365 days of pool facility. I love the master bedroom bathtub complete with jacuzzi facility. I loved the self contained room as i have little kids i was able to cook snacks and bfast for them with out having to go out and buy it. Loved the pool for them to play in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything supplied that you could possibly need, eg washing machine, dryer etc. Close proximity to supermarket, cinema, city etc. Loved the super king sized bed, kids beds were great also. Swimming pool was fabulous, kids used it every day. Restaurant also fantastic with wonderful service. David at Reception was so helpful. He is a great asset to the hotel, he couldn't do enough for my elderly mother and myself. Location was nice, nice view of city. Quite an old building but seems nice inside. Pool was good and conveniently located. Friendly staff & so helpful allowing me to check in earlier with young children started me off for a great stay ;). Appartment style room. Lovely atmosphere at the hotel. Great having the washing machine and dryer and good vehicle security. The size and layout of the apartment and the balcony in particular. Apartment 55 was great The pool and room facilities were very good. The view and how roomly the apartment are plus that is secure too. just loved the location and the villa. accessable to everything. the room was more like a chalet, fully equipped and spacious. superb facilities and the location of the resort (near jetty). Like I said not major and understand it's probably hard to change. Nothing we didn't like, just like leaving. Can't fault it. Small things, but no power points in one of the bedrooms (2 bed + loft apartment) so couldn't charge phone and have alarm etc. Also, the lounges are old and small. Not a good use of the space..when have 6 people staying and only seating for 4. Suggest new lounges are purchased and have better use of the lounge space. WiFi charges are very expensive. The stairs to get to the room and the stairs in the loft room. Only as i have young kids and they were playing on them. Large group of visitors around pool was not asked by management to keep the noise level down and it was very unpleasant as you could hear them shouting and yelling from inside your apartment. The only negative for us was the condition of the couches, they were dirty, stained and worn. We covered them up with blankets and sheets before we could sit on them. The rates are very expensive. Had to carry all luggage up and down two flights of stairs. I couldn't fault the resort but I didn't have a coffee plunger but that was all. Needed to insert security tag to open gate several times before gate opened. The traffic noise from the Freeway.....windows need to be double glazed. Curtains need to be Blockout...outside security lighting above window with no curtain made the loft too bright to sleep in. Very noisy for traffic Radio playing in the pool area. The couches in our room were very dirty- we put extra blankets from the cupboard over them before we sat down. The gate system was very old and didn't work well. Traffic noise,beds a bit old and soft,lounge requires updating,some mould in shower, Overall rooms need refurbishment. All good. Rooms are a bit noisy - could hear people above moving around in the apartment above. some of the crockery in the kitchen could have been better. Took a little to get used to the bed. I thought the people working in reception could have been more helpful not as friendly as in the past. I thought it was very expensive for one nights accomodation. No TV in the bedroom and couch too small. The lack of power outlets bedside and near the main table. Apartment 22, the first room at the front of complex very noisy. However staff did everything they could to switch us to a quieter room. We couldn't get the aircon to work. It was a bit of a rush visit and didn't ask for help. However we advised satff when we checked out. Glasses in cupboard were not 100% clean. Close to a busy freeway, but apartments at the back OK. Spoilt when we were there by a very rowdy large group of sports people on the Saturday night. One of the staff members was quite rude and when I arrived the power was out. The noise from people leaving earlier than us. The gate for exit and entrée is really slow. room wasn't made up every day. Uncomfortable bed lack of foxtel channels. Bathroom downstairs flooded when you had a shower due to poor run off and excellent water pressure. Spa did not work in room 24 and wasn't fixed until the evening before checkout. freeway noise.
