You kindly ungraded us from an executive room to I think a Junior Suite. Timing was wonderful as I was up for day surgery which turned out to be a bit brutal. The space and amenities were greatly appreciated. Your staff were courteous and friendly at all times. thank you. The hotel was situated in the city walking distance to Barack Street Jetty where we dined on a river cruiseCity of lights tour. Then back to the hotel was relaxing clean and enjoyed breakfast afternoon tea and loved the room and facilities.
all reviews » Loved the Pacific Club. Staff were so friendly, even the cleaning staff in the corridors would stop and smile and say hello as we walked past. Fantastic room, lovely and clean and comfortable. Will stay again DEFINITELY. Staff were very nice. Even though our room wasn't ready when we arrived they provided us with complimentary drinks while we waited and upgraded us to the executive suite instead of the room. Loved our stay. Impressed one of the best I have stayed at and I am a traveller with my job and stay at many hotels motel and such, the Asian staff you have working there are so accommodating and should be congratulated. Everything! This is the third time I've stayed here, only the second as Pan Pacific as it used to be the Sheraton. Staff are helpful and efficient, even when you check in at 1am!. The courtesy by staff and the willingness to help in any way. Facilities were fantastic and location a plus being close to everything. We had a wonderful stay thank you. Received an upgrade to Club floor. Room provided was spacious with a good work desk. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast in Club was simple but good. Clean, fresh, good air con, great view, hotel dining, room service, access to city, access to river and other destinations e.g. Kings Park. Staff very friendly and helpful. Mistakes were rectified imediately and a complementary bottle of champagne was provided. Very impressed. The room, for the price was great. Very comfortable. Great location. Club lounge breakfast was 'awesome',for lack of a better word. The value for money as well as staff are great so to the hotel it's self is modern and clean and very well presented. Secondly, we had several room service meals and I would have liked them to appear on a trolley rather than on trays. Nothing - it was perfect. Nothing. Nothing. The shower glass could be different I feel sorry for the cleaners with the water on the floor. Maybe a microwave would be good in some rooms. No issues. Cost of parking. The room was a little dated. Found the buffet disappointing compared to our last stay. Main reason for coming back was the variety of vegitarian cuisine. My wife was woken around 4am by the crows outside (Very sensitive sleeper). Price for a movie even though it was not a new release seemed very excessive and to restrict movie channels on foxtel only made me feel taken advantaged. Parking cost of $30, perhaps they could include it within the rate. Not same standard as the Pan Pacifics in Singapore. No upgrade to Pacific Club even though my total Pan Pacific stays in the region were 19 days this trip (Singapore did though!!). Varying rates per day, why not just one flat rate (weekdays were1.5 Times the weekend rate!!). I would have liked more offers for our 28 th anniversary even if we had to pay for them. Eg. In room massage or chocolates & wine or rose petals on the bed ect. I had previously made my booking with breakfast included but at the end of my stay they tryed to charge me for the breakfast. I had to run the bath water for about 15 mins before it went clear as it was coming out brown. Lack of parking. the spa bath didn't work....and the price per night for the room was very expensive.... The fact they billed my credit card twice and both times charged $50 more than the cost of my 1 night stay. 3 days later and still no re-credit or explanation. $750 for one nights stay very unhappy. Still waiting for an explanation. Still out of pocket and being charged interest. My daughter inadvertently left $150 on the bed and it was gone when we came back to the room. We asked for an enquiry and the maid who cleaned the room had it in her pocket. This was 8 hours later. The supervisor said that the maid thought it was a tip even though their policy is to report any tip over $10. We accepted the explanation but we're not impressed. We made sure to use the safe after that as we felt very uncomfortable leaving our things in the room. no Negatives. Very old rooms need upgrade to old paintwork very poor.. Valet was quite expensive and really wish that would have been disclosed at the time of booking. I know this isn't always possible, but $50/day was more than most cities I've visited. $35/Day is more realistic in my mind and on par with other similar cities. Bar was very small, would be nice to be a little rommier with extra chairs. I wasn't aware of the deposit would've been good to of known about that before arrival. There was no milk in the fridge for a cup of tea... Not uht nor fresh, and I couldnt be bothered calling room service for milk. I think it was an oversight on housekeeping's part. the rooms are a little pokey; and shower in the bath is a trip/fall hazard. it should have been possible to include breakfast as part of a package when booking and not have to resort to filling out forms every morning. The price of parking. pool is small & not enough activities for romance or anniversary. Furniture was a little old fashion. Was of the opinion via pictures on the website that I was booking a different room. Disappointed with our room in contrast to what was expected when booked. Cost of movies & wifi to room. Cost of massages & other luxuries. Long waits for lift & reception when arrived. Pool facilities only fair. No complimentary newspaper delivered. Hotel getting a bit weary. dodgy hotel movie system, expensive and looks like it was designed to get confused people to buy movies inadvertently. Warning for the novice hotel users. Broken shower screen left the floor very dangerous after showering. nothing. No outlook from room om floor 5. looking on to a rooftop. Cost of food and beverage. Looked as though it was poorly renovated No view. Breakfast was a rip off. $30 per person for a Continental breakfast is too much. Breakfast luke warm both mornings! Note written on one morning lobby level.
