Close to downtown,one Asian super mkt and one fresh food super mkt cross road.10min walk to queen victoria gardens,Art Center.15min walk to central shopping street as David Johns,China town, etc.You can also walk over city road,power road,queens bridge to take Free tram35. Queens market is a must go for great seafood and beef with good value. Great ocean road is a must go too with fantastic views. We also went to pickup cherry in red hill as recommended by sweet recep. all reviews

Apartments, have all the answers on location. They generally meet the
standards and requirements for comfortable stays. Two Bathrooms and
WC's is a must for sharing people. Nice and clean, roomy, good
quality working Kitchen utilities, and very secure. Would stay here
again only if the price represented better than most for value, as
explained by my red comments.
Requested an apartment with a view & we were not disappointed (32nd floor) Glass windows from ceiling to floor right across the lounge & bedroom, views fantastic city to sea. Apartment clean, tidy & carpets had been shampooed, Staff very helpful & called us has soon as our apartment was ready. Have already recommended to all friends heading to Melbourne.
Southpoint (short stay apartment) was a convenient 10 minute walk to Southbank Precinct and Crown Casino for food and entertainment. Food from the Cafe at the ground level of the building was excellent for service & price. Also IGA/Liquor store, noodle bar, restaurant around the corner were also great value. Would definitely want to stay at this location again.
Early 4am start from home, on arrival yes our room was ready earlier
than expected exc, heaps of room for 4 adults kitchen facilities exc
well thought out for the essentials(of which we took some with us)
couldn't have been better for self,daughter and 2 grandsons in their
20s close to great areas would stay again without doubt many thanks.
Friendly helpful Staff, excellent security features, roomy well-equipped rooms, fine City view including stretches of the Yarra; walking distance to all the Arts venues we were attending:- State Theatre, Museum, Recital Centre...and Mini Supermarket next door.
Excellent facilities with bonus of tea making stuff, washing powder for the washing machine etc. Plenty of space and would have been just as good for 2 persons. Proximity of food and general stores means there is no reason to run out of essentials.
2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on the 15th floor was spacious and comfortable for family group. Reasonably well-equipped kitchen made eating in easy. Beds were good, great hot shower with good water pressure. Apartment had good non-city views.
I loved that I asked for a couple of extra towels for gym and pool and
they left a pile of towels....not stingy. The coffee and tea facilites
were great. Great location close to crown and stuff. Will be staying
here again.
Position, ease of access in and out of apartments, views of south eastern Melbourne and the bay, walking distance access to CBD, Southbank, Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery, etc. Cafes and restaurants aplenty!.
Staff were great, had a problem with several of the applicances, phoned the reception to advise and within the day an electrican came to look at the problem, fixed it and went the extra mile to assist us.
Great location. Very easy to walk or use public transport to get to a wide variety of attractions. A short stroll to Southbank Promenade, Crown Casino and CBD.
Everything , the views across the bay, the lights at night, although
they may disappear after the next high rise goes up, which has
already started.
The size of the room was perfect. I meet family there so we have a two bedroom unit and it was just the right size for us.
we liked the fact that it was so quiet and great security in and out of the building and very close to everything.

pls note for car parking you must stick the receipt on your car window otherwise you will be punished. Reception is next to the building and you must watch very carefully for street numbers when drive on city road.
The road noise from outside is horrendous but totally acceptable
providing you keep closed the small fresh air windows. This
unfortunately is not desirable 100% of the time and we like fresh air
when sleeping. Surmountable, but compromise would need to be considered.
Having to tramps from check in to the building with all our gear,
wasn't all that special either.
Ha Ha went into lift at wrong apart block and wondered why when in lift
we couldn't do anything to move with a closed door "help",
how silly of us and had a good laugh when someone told us our mistake
this is not a complaint.
Noise from building work on nearby new tower blocks. Can't be helped and a small price to pay for being so close to all amenities.
Slow internet connections but then that's a problem in Australia anyway.
Living area carpet was heavily stained and smell of deodorizer was unpleasantly strong. Not particularly quiet, with background hum of traffic and whistling wind, though I imagine this comes with the location.
With the tea and coffee facilites they could add a couple more
containers of milk.
Have stayed at MSSA on previous occassions and found Victoria Tower extremely noisy form very early in the morning. Hence requested city views and highest floor possible where we have been most comfortable in the past. Request not granted. Would not stay in Victoria Tower ever again. In future will ring up and make booking. If city tower not available will go elsewhere. WiFi Internet access variable. Venetian blinds becoming worse for wear!.
We had been booked at 185 City road and upon arrival it had been changed to 241 city Road, which was disappointing as we were further from town.
The only thing I didn't like was the amount of time we had to wait for the lifts all the time.
the beds were very uncomfortable and the airconditioning was only good if we all sleep in the lounge room area the rest of the apartment was extremely hot and uncomfortable 8-(. some sort of fans in the rest of the apartment should be considered.
Heard traffic noise most of night.

Lack of curtains in the bedrooms meant we were woken early by the sunrise.
Very poor service on arrival - several customers waiting for a very long time to be attended to - a group actually walked out in anger at the long wait.
The blinds need replacing , really shabby condition compared to the rest of the apartment.

No Room Clean Sevice. If you stay more than 3 days. it could be trouble you to clean your room by yourself.

Didn't like the shower in the second bathroom. I couldn't figure out how to keep water from flowing onto the bathroom floor. Also, there was a drunk individual wandering up and down the hall when we got back one night. A little scary. Internet and phone didn't work because it was plugged into the wrong socket.
Our apartment was a little bit small it looked bigger on the website.

That our bed configuration was wrong and one guest had to sleep on the floor on the lounge cushions because there was not a fold up bed available. The desk staff were helpful and friendly but the manager on dutybatbthe time was unhelpful, inflexible and not willing to help!.
Pool had far too much chlorine, turned my shorts purple and had burning eyes all morning, do not use the pool.
No baggage racks or similar in rooms.
Only one bathroom.
Really cold aircon on the floor made the apartment also cold.
Car park layout and numbers confusing.
The foxtale sessions were very limited. It would make the stay more enjoyable / special if all the menu items were available to watch.
