Position is great, overlooking the Marina. Two minute walk to the Yacht Club for meals, entertainment and pokies. Other restaurants available as well. One bedroom spa apartment is very spacious and well equipped. Balcony is a good size. All in all really liked our stay and will return. Secure parking is a bonus. Lovely and close to the marina, and also to a number of restaurants. Secure parking. All rooms have a great view and private balcony. Some rooms even have direct access to the pool from their balcony, which I think is a great idea.

The facilities in the one bedroom apartment and the fabulous view of the Marina. Would highly recommend Cafe Balaeno for dinner. Excellent Hervey Bay Scallops and Coral Trout. Reasonable prices too. As always, with any Mantra hotel/resort, you know what you are getting. Friendly staff, everything functional and comfortable in the rooms, great locations, good value for money. Highly recommended. The view on the top floor was spectacular. Overlooking the harbour was relaxing and with restaurants right below it is location, location, location. We could not ask for any better!. The staff just couldn't do enough for us.We had trouble getting internet in our room so they shifted us to another room--still no internet so they got a technician in and fixed it. Rooms are always comfortable, really like the location, close to the whale watching tours and the restaurants. Was very happy with location, facilities. Had everything you need. Near-dead cockroach in the bathroom ... could be more towel hanging space ... no exhaust fan so nowhere for steam to escape. Was also very noisy our first night with doors banging to the small hours. The small dull room with tiny balcony and no view before we asked for a change. Thank you to the wonderful staff for doing that. It made an ordinary stay into a wonderful experience. This location is getting a bit tired, could do with some refurbishment. Nothing. The internet company they use --ASURE--leave a bit to be desired. Would have liked a top up on soaps and shampoo/condition items for the four day stay we had. the 2bed apartment was actually two separate 1bed apartments. Was fine for me as I was staying with friends, but could be an issue with families... Unit in need of a spruce up. The only concern I had was the utensils (a couple knives and forks) were not clean, along with the fry pan. Overall, the room we were in was very nice. Very limited vegetarian options at any of the eateries. Had to drive to a Thai place in a storm to get something to eat and it was very ordinary as well. Car park was full most of the time so in stormy weather it was tricky parking in the other car park. Noise from Marina. Pool gate was too loud and people used it till late at night and would start early in the morning. $19 to rent a movie is ridiculously priced. the couch the cushions kept sinking into the fold out bed underneath. Having to climb into a spa bath to take a shower not convenient - but staff supplied a step stool to assist. Would much prefer accommodation with a separate shower. Magnetic doors also very noisy during the night. Just a trivial thing - the fan with the light in the ceiling kept turning off and on. Having to leave. Balcony window faces east so unit becomes hot unless front door is left open. bathroom screen had not been cleaned in a long time. Nothing. room a little small. Do not want a bed with 2 singles put together ever again I asked for a kingsize bed not 2 singles. Not enough tea and coffee facilities, and no mini bar. Balcony so small that you had to dance around the airconditioner to move. Crumbs on lounge, noisy air con when fan on full (very rattley), and the word penis written in the haze on the sliding door glass which had not been cleaned thank god we didnt have any kids with us this was somewhat dissapointing. very dark bedroom, poor lighting poor ventillation unless we turned the air con on. We had a dark and dingy room that had very basic furnishing, and an extremely narrow balcony. The cost of in-house videos was ridiculously high - $19.95 for new releases, $14.95 for recent videos and $9.95 for old ones. The lighting at the bathroom mirror was very inadequate. There is no undercover parking!. No cooking facilities, small room. web site showed photos of 1 bed apartment with full kitchen and full fridge. I had a kitchenette and bar fridge. Not suitable for a long stay. The seating was uncomfortable, not a good seat in the unit. Room was small and over the shopping arcade air conditioners which appeared to run at full power 24/7. A disappointing stay. the lounge was uncomfortable.
