We were made to feel very special as soon as we walked in the doors,the staff are A1...Fabulous !!,nothing was a problem. Thoroughly Recommend this Hotel. Congratulations on running a 5 Star Hotel,it was more than the star rating already given this Hotel. The rooms were vry modern, spotless,everything you need in it,including extra towels for the pool,which was a plus!staff were so friendly and helpful.Its just a few mins walk from the beach and main shopping areas.Great location , Excllent hotel :).
all reviews » my sister dropped her phone in the room. we signed out but she didn'T realize until 1/2 hour later. she rang and staff found the phone and rang me. it was very great service and apparently was no trouble to the staff. hard to find caring people. *View was fantastic - whale watching was wonderful from the room. *Public transport to parks and airport just outside hotel *Staff - professional, friendly and helpful *Hotel clean, king bed, feather pillows, etc etc *Short walk to Cavill Ave. Staff were brilliant, gave us complimentary upgrade when some confusion around our booking. Thought we had booked a queen size, instead got two doubles. Upgraded to a king size room. They were so friendly and extremely helpful. - The friendliness of the staff - Although my partner and I didn't use them, the vouchers/specials that were given to us upon arrival. - The refurbished double bed rooms - Two pools - The hallways smelt nice. we just love how central it is to everything . also i worked there for two years from 2006 to 2008 but wouldnt stay anywhere else ever having trying others and having bad experiences. Love the foyer. Clean and bright hotel. Beautiful room, recently refurbished. Very close to all transport and attractions, minus the noise. Food Buffet was great. perfect!. the staff were so friendly and always helpful. it was so organised and they made us feel so welcome. the room was very clean and tidy, the bed was SOOOO comfortable. Staff were great. Pool and spa were fun. Bar was very good. Italian restaurant across the road was fantastic. Being a little away from the city centre was perfect. The staff was fabulous! Treated us like first class was amazing:-) My two toddlers loved it & the rooms were spacious for what we paid. Will def stay again. Everything! The staff were all wonderful and our room was clean and tidy. Loved the W-lounge, overall a great relaxing experience we will definitely be back!. Everything; 2 pools and spas with nice views of the skyline, good concierge service, and great value for money. We really enjoyed our stay here. i liked the interior design, the choice of so many options at the hotel itself. The service was great and would definately stay again. the bed was very ergonomic. I was there post operation and the receptionist made it very easy for me. Everything was very comfortable. The location is fantastic. We only stayed overnight so we could hit the town on saturday night. Perfect!!!. Location is central to city, we loved being close to the beach and the city. the room, the help that you get when you want it. the friendly staff. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for younger children. It's a bit of a walk to the beach & Surfers itself. Also away from the main strip! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would come back here on our own. We had to leave! Would love in room spa. Nothing - it was wonderful!. More child friendly option at the hotel would be good. when we stayed it rained for the 3 days so we where stuck inside and got a bit hard with the children. don't arrive on the weekend as you may not find space I the car park. Concierge didn't seem to know what time the q1 skytower (across the road) was open, and ended up giving me the wrong information. Would be nice for a hotel of this quality to provide wi-fi in the rooms, but that seems to be very uncommon in Australia generally. Breakfast was expensive. Decor - uncomfortable bed!. Just was a bit disappointed in someone elses rubbish being in the bin. The air conditioning did not work properly so the rooms were extremely cold to the point of uncomfortable. We had booked three rooms and all were the same. Nothing. We were going to be charged extra for breakfast but I spoke up...We took the special deal carparking and breakfast....but we went to the wrong breakfast spot....No one said anything so we sat and ate.....maybe clearer signage or just include the one breakfast spot. The construction of the new inner city team line right at the door. Very noisy n not at all attractive. Made getting about a little tricky also. Will be better when it's complete. Food. Breakfast buffet expensive and food is not the best. Still smells from the refurbishment. Limited spa access. paying extra to park. The extra $15.- Car Parking and the $90.- p.p. entry free to Seaworld day trip. Apart from that having to see my ex wife after 8 months. W club special..breakfast was delayed.... Location a nightmare with all the roadworks. Had difficulty with closed streets/no right hand turn locating best way to get to Hotel. I would have appreciated advice from Hotel staff as I wasn't aware of roadworks. Car park lift too slow. No mini fridge. TV had all USB ports disabled. Only news and sports channels on cable TV. A lot of roadworks in the center of Surfers at the moment, but it should be finished in a few months (I hope for them). The bath tub shower partial screen. letsbookhotel.com only took payment for the first night, so i had to pay for the remaining nights on arrival. I would have preferred to pay the entire stay online. Paying extra for under cover parking. The bar fridge not stocked. No balconies , can't open windows.
