Your Restaurants, VIDERE and ARAKARA serve exceptional food equal to and better than anything I have found anywhere in Australia. The golf course is outstanding and well maintained. It is the thing we will remember most about our stay. I hasten to add that all the staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous. One in particular that stands out was "Suzie" at the "coffee bar" downstairs.

Excellent meal in the Japanese restaurant Good buffet breakfast although the bacon and eggs had been sitting a while and were not very warm. Lovely country setting in the heart of the Gold Coast, only a short drive to everything. Everything was so wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Room service guy was good value. Desk workers were great. Plenty of secure parking. Many different food options. Service for breaks was excellent as was other service in restaurants etc. Really enjoyed my stay. I loved the selection of in house meals and the very accommodating staff that took our orders. The prices for food was quite reasonable and therefore we at and stayed at the one place. Great restaurant on 21st Floor Excellent buffet breakfast. Comfortable king size bed. The pool area is excellent for my young family and the rooms themselves are spacious. Clean, well presented, fresh food. Big shower head, night light in bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, it has been nicely refurbished. The Hotel facilities were great and the staff were friendly. Great breakfast set up and outdoor area to eat. Staff were very helpful, attentive, responsive. Great facilities. Friendly staff. Timing of our stay.....no crowds. The beds, awesome beds. Rooms were spacious. Sport facilities. Golf courses. Nothing!. Whilst the room was very clean, the carpet and paintwork were a little "tired" and could use a freshen up. The walking path around the resort is not signposted very well, perhaps it's only meant for golfers. TV system menu is clunky and not user friendly. Our toilet wasn't working properly (someone came and fixed it). There was an awful smell on our floor. Some food was awesome, some was a bit blah (at the conference). The lift was out of order from the car park. And what is with no direct access to the car park from your room? Temperature in the complex was hit and miss. Sme parts were freezing and others were stifling. nothing to dislike. We had to pay more than other people because when we booked on line we didn't put down our RACQ number or tick that we were a member and therefore couldn't claim the club discount. A little overcrowded at buffet meal times. Line was a little long. The bar was closed due to a private function and the Panorama Lounge just did not have any stock of drinks due to the other bar being used privately. My son in law and daughter stayed with me one night and the beds are way too short - my husband certainly would not fit. Lucky he didn't come with me this time. Went to dinner and waiter took unfinished drinks when we went to smorgasbord. This happened several times - very unprofessional - our handbags and coats etc still on chairs indicating we were returning. In the Executive Lounge I was made to feel like a second grade citizen, The evening staff member stood around and treated people like a police officer would. I paid $90 a day and only used it once. I did not like being intimidated. very old bathrooms and the room ,a non smoking room, smelt of smoke . Great for business, too big for me for a quiet holiday. Room we were checked into was not set up as a Twin as requested. However staff upgraded us to an Executive floor to compensate. Very happy with the solution. When enquiring about activities, my husband wasn't aware of specials on offer. He had already paid full price for one activity when friends told him of a deal. eg Segway, bubble and laser shooting package. Lifts very slow & should have a lift to the carpark as had to carry my bags a long way.Couldn't park underground & was out in the open carpark. Lack of other activities besides golf and tennis. The beds were very soft. Age had made the mattress have no support with deep hollows. I would not stay here again until I was assured of a supportive mattress.
