  Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe. I would recommend this place to other travellers and will definitely come back again. - Very attractive ... what people say » pool & tropical garden setting.... low profile buildings (ie 2-3 floors only). Close to city centre & local buses. Friendly & helpful staff willing to be helpful with our later departure. Stored our luggage whilst we were on trip. Good dining facilities in res.taurant or by pool.

  The Darwin Central Hotel is perfectly situated, close to retaurants, tourist venues and public transportantion. My room was clean, quiet, attractive, and well-air-conditioned. The breakfast was wonderful each morning. In particular, the hotel front desk staff was superb. If I'm ever back in Darwin, I'll be sure to stay here again. - Conveniently located, right in the city. Very attentive and supportive staff. Spacious rooms (with even spaciour bathrooms), well maintained, tastefully furnished and super clean. Lot's of restaurants, cafes and shops in walking distance. We stayed there the first night of our trip after arriving in Darwin, but decided to stay a night longer as we liked it so much. Highly recommended!
