I was travelling with my 21 year old son. We had a really great and warm stay. Catherine, the lady owner was hospitable, frendly and arranged an early check in to the room just before noon. She provided us with good information to explore the island and offered to drive us to Summerland to watch the penguins and helped to book us a taxi back to the motel. Lino, her Italian hubby, ensured that our room bulbs were working before leaving us to rest after our 2+ hour bus journey from Melbourne city.
all reviews » Location: Conveniently in town yet on a quiet street. Very clean. The small playground, playhouse & trampoline for children. I booked a suite so it was very spacious. Kitchenette with microwave convenient and handy especially for families with young children. Small backyard was great if you want a bit of fresh air but don't want to leave the front door open so you have some privacy. Last but not least the very friendly welcome at check in by June!. Quiet location but still within easy walking of beach and town centre Spacious clean accommodation with everything we needed for an overnight stay including KS bed Very helpful / friendly person at reception Handy to get to Penguin Parade (the main reason for our visit) Enjoyed Fig and Olive restaurant in Cowes for dinner after the Penguin Parade. although not required, when realising we are older, my sister and I were offered ground floor accomodation & assistance with luggage. Whenever staff met us we were asked if we required any thing. We loved the atmosphere of the complex & appreciated the courtesy and natural friendliness. The service was really good, the owner was very friendly and very informative. She helped answer evey question we had. Although we had checked in quite late, she waited for us and made us feel very welcome once we had arrived. The room was of a decent size and was very clean. The lady at the reception was really nice to us, she upgraded our room and provided us with maps and suggestions on what we do in the following hours. Location is good too, very convenient if you got a car. Everything was perfect. Good experience. A good motel that is an excellent quiet location. Staff was very fiendly and helpful. It was pretty cold in the evening and they lend us warm jackets to watch the penguin parade. It was one of the cleanest and best-maintained accommodations we have ever stayed at. Staff were fantastic and close to everything we wanted to visit. The lady at the reception really made us feel at home the moment we arrived there...she gave us a very worm welcome... nice place and nice people. We had a barbie brunch with minimal tools and the manager provided china plates, sauce, salt and pepper and an offer of anything else wanted. Everything about the motel was fantastic. Massuve great room with lounge suite. Dining table. Kitchen. Beaut bathroom. Just fantastic. Room was clean and tidy, plenty of power points. Staff were excellent, made sure we knew how to get to particular places about town. Everything from booking on line to checking in without any problems to needing anything the staff was helpful to a quick check out. nice motel to stay with family of 6. 2 bedroom with nice kitchen for cooking. close to beach, nobbies and penguin parade's place. There was nothing I did not like. Beds and couches could be softer with some cushions for comfort. Position of TV awkward to view. no negatives. Had to pay for the Wi-Fi. There was nothing. Not enough rooms for all the friends to stay at the one place - Seahorse. We booked too late. Nothing all was good. Cool - but then it was the coldest weekend of the year! The heating struggled. Nothing. The water cooker was not usable. tt's an dated motel. No place to leave your key when you check out early. A little dated. All good. no pool or spa and. Cannot think of anything. no complaints. Nothing. All good. A bit dated. Nothing. Nothing. Paid wifi is undesirable.
