  Reception staff - very friendly at each encounter. I was welcomed with unsolicited suggestions and free maps - very nice touch you would normally only see in a small country town. I am not that fussy but . . . I find dry irons in hotel rooms very frustratingly ineffective and a statement of mistrust. Cap Exec provided a steam iron and it was a v... what people say » ery effective one (took a pic; will buy one). Breakfast buffet was very, very reasonably priced - didn't feel any urge to over-eat just to get my mone - My wife fell and broke her arm 3 hours after we arrived; I was diagnosed with DVT 3 days later. We had to extend our stay by 3 days as doctopr would not allow me to drive home. Staff was very helpful indeed in finding another room for us for 3 days even though the hotel was heavily booked. Could not speak more highly of the staff. Also good to be able to have dinner brought to our room.

  This property is well priced, and quiet, and only about 10 minutes from the northern end of Canberra. The rooms are comfortable and relatively clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We were there when a school group was also staying there, but because of the size of the resort, we didn't hear a peep out of them all night long. Kinda frustrating really - and I am not blaming the staff but the Rydges booking system.

  When leaving the hotel I thought that the accommodation fee had already been charged to my credit card but was told that it not how letsbookhotel.com works, which I know is not the case, so I hope I haven't been charged twice.   Very good value for money, the unit was clean with good heating. Car parking was good. The facilities and Restaurant were good clan and good food. The swimming pool area looks nice, but not the weather to try it out. The location to all the things you want to do and the CBD was excellant. - All the dishes and utensils were supplied. Gas hot water... what people say » , so didn't have to worry about running out. Nice park amenities, everything thing was clean and well maintained. Well laid out. We didn't feel squeezed in. Friendly staff.
