The service given to us and the comfort whilst staying was fantastic plus the added bonus was the reception held for my sons wedding was excellent for the service, food, and care given to all whom attended. For $170 it was great value! I was expecting a smaller room but had an apartment with a separate bedroom. Clean and comfortable enough and the included breakfast was lovely!.
all reviews » Enjoyed position to main roads and shopping. Seemed secure. Staff treated visiters well and responded when entering foyer. Will return again. Nice staff, easy place for solo business traveler with restaurant & bar on site and small gym. Walking distance to University of Canberra. the motel is in a very good position for us we have family close we have stayed with you often and always recommend you to our friends. The convenience and proximity to Westfield Belconnen shopping centre and restaurants etc. Easy and close on-site parking. Location, central to where we needed to go, also close to Belconnen and not far from the City Centre. Room was large and very clean, and location was great close to the Belconnen Westfields or the lake. Was a great location for us as our daughter lives in Belconnen. The gym was also good to have. Was close to the uni which was good for us and we were upgraded when we got there. clean , plenty off parking , and layback attitude towards visitors. clean warm secure accommodation in great location. Staff were helpful and advice freely given. The location was very convenient for us. Plenty of space in rooms, very clean. Clean, efficient and good location. The drink vouchers are a good idea. was a basic room and service. The location suits us for the purpose of our visit to Canberra. The foyer, bar and dining area are pleasant. Clean, neat room. Some signs of wear and tear that will need attention. Having a gym area was good: would be nice to have a few weights there as well. The rooms are a bit basic, although adequate. The cold weather. Best not to visit Canberra in winter unless you are on your way to the snowfields. Was a bit noisey, you could hear people talking & giggling in the room next door. The restaurant was closed the whole time we were there. Nothing. bar area closed at 9pm!- it was a week night - but house full for event on in Canberra -so this was disappointing. no negatives. No Restaurant and advertised as being included in facilities -when late arrival I was expecting to use the restaurant and then had to search for another venue. no lift available older people. outside our room was a door leading back downstairs room 245 this door slammed each time it wa s used causing vibrating in room. The rooms are tired. The décor is dull and uninteresting. With a little flair the rooms could be so much better. I found the décor in the rooms basic. A bit basic & dull room & decor. the room not clean,no local breakfast, noise from other rooms. starting to get a bit old. It was a bit over priced. I had to keep calling reception to get my total order for breakfast as they lefyt off my tea, then the milk. Also I ordered a taxi well in advance via reception to find that when I went to get it they hadnt called it at all & I needed to be somewhere on time! Nothing is easy to find in Canberra & locating this was not easy either. This is a bit far out if you want to explore the city sights. If you want to see the city best stay in the city centre. Maintenance is terrible. This is the third time I have stayed there and each time there have been problems. This time a smoke alarm was not fixed after we specifically told the front desk at 11 AM. Last time we could not reliably get into our room (card entry often didn't work). The time before the refrigerator froze everything solid, even at its lowest setting. I will not stay there again, even though it is most convenient to where I want to be. Score for here at best 3 out of 10.
