  The welcome by receptionist was excellent, telling us not only about the motel but also about Byron Bay. A 2 minute walk to the beach through the back gate of the motel and across sand dunes. A walk of a further 5 mins or so along the beach brings you into Byron Bay. Walk along pleasant road into B.Bay took 10 mins max all on the level,thus an exc... what people say » ellent location. We arrived by Greyhound Coach and it took us no more than 15 minutes to get there on foot. The motel was spotlessly clean both inside - Great service! They were keen to help with anything, provided a continuous supply of toiletries/tea/coffee /hot chocolate and even had umbrellas, towels and games that we could borrow for free. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have air conditioning and foxtel in the room. The beach is literally a minute away and it's a 2 minute walk from the main street.

  This family run B&B was welcoming, comfortable, had onsite parking and was quiet. It felt like home. It is on the main road on the edge of the commercial strip across from the RSL. It is within walking distance of the beach. The continental breakfast ($10) was really good with fruit, cereals with yoghurt &/or milk, croissant, toast, juice ... what people say » and coffee or tea. We will certainly visit again. - It was close enough to the town centre but was still quiet, the owner was very helpful and friendly, the room was a good size and very comfortable, and everything was clean and welcoming. Didn't try the brekkie so can't comment on that but the choice of food and the price was great.

  Liked the space for a big group. We fitted 16 in 2 units comfortably, with ages from 85 to 30 years old. The facilities were great and the position in town - The staff were so kind and considerate and made our stay really wonderful, the location was perfect and it was really roomy and comfortable

  I only used my room for a bed at night as I spent every day from early morning until late with my family living locally. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was perfectly adequate, neat and tidy. The whole complex was well-kept and the gardens and pool area were well maintained. - A five minute drive from Byron Bay town centre allowed... what people say » us to relax a little bit more whilst having the flexibility to drive into town. It even smells good and is impeccably clean, plus includes breakfast and cooking facilities. It's perfectly located away from the town in a residential oasis. We had fun watching the Aust - The rooms decor and the whole house was done like a lovely home setting. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Great kitchen in which to cook our evening meal and very good continental breakfast provided (which is a rare bonus for the price and type of accomodation). Staff very friendly and grounds beautiful. Only a few mins drive to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend it!

  Coming from a Hotel Management background, I know what it means to make people feel at home- I felt that everything was easy and effortless- by this I mean that everything was seamless, and the staff all gave the genuine impression that it was truly a pleasure to work there and look after the guests. Nothing was a problem- everyone was exceptional... what people say » ly friendly, welcoming and pleasant. I also wish to make specific mention to the food- I had the pleasure of enjoying the chef's specials last Sunday - Our apartment with full kitchen, laundry and enormous bath was perfect for our family. It immediately felt homely with the bonus of comforts and amenities of a top class resort. The rainforest boardwalk was a joy to explore and the hotel was a convenient 5 minute drive to the town centre, or a 10 minute stroll to Tallow Beach. Complementary morning yoga on the verandah was also a lovely way to start the day. The staff were a stand-out; consistently pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.

  Clean and tastefully appointed rooms. We were a mature couple travelling with our mature daughter. The owners son who I gathered worked on mainting the Motel was very pleasant and very much open for a chat whenever we encountered him which made us feel very much at home. Lovely garden which would be ideal for children to run and play with a nic... what people say » e barbeque area. All in all nice place to stay and good value for money. - i liked the location, the room, the kitchenette was great and the kitchen Sunbeam equipment was a bonus. i cooked a lot of great meals. the layout of the room was good, it felt like home. Laundry service was great. and the Costumer service was FANTASTIC. We came for 1 Night BUT we Stayed for 3 Nights Because we liked it so much. Landscaping was great and the Herb plants on the gazebo ware a pleasantly useful.
