Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Food at the restaurant was really good. 5-10 minutes walk to the city center.

Spacious rooms. Delicious food in the Barra restaurant. Nice and quiet. Comfy beds.

Cleanliness of the mirrors in the room left a little to be desired. Screaming kids throwing balls and bombing in the pool, far from relaxing.

On our 1st visit we had a ground floor room with small outdoor terrace which we really appreciated. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Free wifi in our room was a bonus.

On our 2nd visit we had a larger room but no balcony or terrace.

Rooms were very spacious. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! Restaurant was varied.

This hotel is probably the most conveniently located in Alice Springs (short walk to the town) and the restaurant/bar/pool area is very pleasant. The quality of the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant staff were brilliant - nothing we asked was too much trouble.

We had a massive problem when checking in which took about an hour - tough after 5 hours travelling on a 40 degree day. It was eventually sorted out and the staff were apologetic but it shouldnt have happened. There is longish walk with no footpath to the rooms and you have to drag your own bags. Once there if you happen to have an upstairs room you have to lug your bags up the stairs as there is no lift.

Only one minor item: trouble running a bar tab. Second time I've stayed there and had the same problem on both occasions. Obviously not much of a problem.

The cute maintenance boy that came to fix the problem below...the sparkling wine we ordered from room service was delish; GREAT staff and "luxury" with value after being in the outback

Nice hotel with swimming pool and restaurant if needed (although a bit expensive). Friendly staff and nice big room. In 5 minutes, closing the bridge, you are in the center.

Rooms and bathrooms were a bit tired, stained towels, didn't feel private and secure due to big glass sliding doors taking up one wall, ill fitting curtains and people walking past all the time.

Location was good, pool was lovely, the bar staff very good and helpfull. The Hotel is ideal for a quick stopover, rooms are basic, but nice.

The hotel lets abourigines use the facilities. While we were there they ran around the hotel and pool area, jumping of the pool bar. They act like animals and smell very bad, and left rubbish around the pool.None of the staff say anything to them, and let them carry on This is very off putting and not nice when you pay good money to stay there.

The Barra on Todd Restaurant Dinners were very nice & staff friendly, enjoyable atmosphere.

Room disappointing we paid for a superior room!! It was dark & the outlook was at another roof would have liked to look out at the ranges lighting bad curtains too dark needed repairs.Dripping Tap over basin annoying.
