I likted that the rooms were easy to get to, the food was excellent, the mountains in the morning were cool to look at, I would have loved to enjoy the pool as the view was spectacular. The staff were helpful and friendly. The laundry was great but to accommodate so many visitors another washer and dryer would be helpful. We so appreciated that the accommodation was family and budget friendly. Thank you for being a part of our great holiday. Many thanks.
all reviews » We only stayed here for a night returning to Melbourne from Uluru/Yulara. Booked a family room, room was clean, the place is pretty quiet (good to sleep without noises), the location is right in front of the casino (if you after something in this quiet city). The hotel was quiet although not totally silent. The staff were friendly and eager to be helpful. The rooms were a little dated but clean and tidy. The swimming pool was most inviting but too cold for swimming in July. Breakfast was really nice. The budget suited my family, the units were very nice for what i paid for ant the children were very happy with the swimming pool and we enjoyed the bbq area with good tables. thanks. Check-in good, rooms were spacious and clean, hot water was always available and the beds were comfortable. Pool was also clean and good, even though we were there in winter. Spacious ,well equipped rooms. Great view of ranges. Well priced for the high standard of room. Staff helpful. Enjoyed BBQ area. the pool area enough room for teenagers quirky bathroom (prefabricated molded everything). I liked that it was kid friendly roomy the staff very helpful and quiet peacful. Lovely set out rooms and lovely staff to deal with :). The fact it was nice and close to the main town. Good location, friendly staff, nice place. nice wide car parking spaces. Friendly restaurant staff. good food and service. Rooms are big and comfortable enough for a family of 4. The pool and the surrounding areas are great and restful. the beds were good, pillows were good compared to other places. Restaurant food was excellent. Pool area lovely. rooms were nice. Restaurant great. Not much!!!!!. Nothing. The single mattress in our room had no support that it was not possible to sleep on. The pillows were to difficult to sleep on I'm sure to bring my own on my next journey. The mattress on the top bunk was worn because the springs were poking in the back, we had to place blankets between our child and the mattress. Nothing in particular. The heater took forever to warm the room on our arrival, which coincided with a very wet and cold day. However, as Alice is normally very warm this would not ordinarily be a problem. That I didn't stay longer That it was further away from the town then I expected but very close to the casino which was good. I have nothing to really complain about, except maybe that staff forgot to put toilet paper in the bathroom. Pleasant pool, but the area was not cool and inviting. Needs more shade over the poolside area esp in the harsh Alice heat. Some broken poolside chairs . pool closed too early 7pm (it's hot in Alice and a dip after a busy day would be most welcome). Just would have liked more time to stay. Wifi didn't work as described and pool as freezing and spas are ment to be hot yet this one ice cold. Staff could not assist with wifi and didn't really seem to care that I could not log in for bussiness use. Housekeeping was a bit slack - they don't make up the room on Sundays and this was not made clear to us. I had to go and ask for clean towels on Monday, and after that they didn't make the room up that day either... Air con cut in and out, even when set to manual. Too far from town if I didn't bring my car in from the bush - If I got a ride. half a certon. Blackouts in summer..even tho they were short. The staff could have been nicer (1 out of 3 people met was kind of friendly). The hotel is a bit far away from the centre of Alice Springs. Bathrooms very old & never looked clean. Our bathroom was not clean when we arrived, long black hair through the bathroom & no towels. The whole place looks a little tired. Cleanliness left a little to be desired in bathroom of our unit. Too far out of town, needed $10 taxi to get back after dark, room was too small for 4 people, fridge way too small, my 3 room mates all worked in area so room was their 'permanent' home and was very dirty especially the bathroom. Very tired and dated, exterior not well maintained. Had some terrible meals in the restaurant, really horrible. Bathrooms small, dated and door didn't work. No Internet, although advertised and ONLY reason we booked! Staff showed no interest when told. Tv did not work!. It would have been good if the air con filters had been cleaned and also serviced as the aircon in my room was noisy. Also discovered that room keys 142 and 140 fitted a number of different room door locks. Did not appreciate being told thaY I had to leave a $200 holding deposit by cash or credit card. In the past Credit card details were just held until check out. Took well over seven days for holding deposit to be returned to card. Shabby run down poor facilities.
