Desk manager was excellent, as were front desk employees. We had a problem with a trainee front desk staff; 1st) the trainee made my wife pay a deposit before they would give her the key. It is a lovely hotel, pure luxury in Emirates style. The room was a good size and beautifully decorated. I had a good view of the city. The rooftop pool was heated and a nice way to get some exercise. Since taxis are relatively cheap in Abu Dhabi, I used them to get around. But the bus station is literally right across the street so you could easily use buses to get around. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grand Millennium and would stay again!

I had two-bedroom apartment with kitchen. Spacious, clean and quite.
Nice pool on the roof and fully equipped gym. Food was tasty. -
Location is very good, in the middle of city, also close to al Wanda shopping center.

A Jewel Box in Abu Dhabi
As an industry NGO, we are constantly on the road traveling around the globe conducting events, speaking at conferences and supporting exhibitions.
Abu Dhabi in the UAE is an annual destination for us in the Winter in January for the past decade.

that provided convenience of location; that fits our “NGO” budget; had the right “service” attit -
I had travelled to Abu dhabi by road from muscat along with my family
including 2 kids. We had made the reservation through letsbookhotel.com few
hours before we started. This time we wanted to spend less on lodging
and spend more on fun and visiting places. After serious search, I could
only find very few hotels at this rate. Keeping fingers crossed made the
booking. Called the reception and obtained confirmation and conveyed to
them that we would be arriving mid night.

I had a wonderful surprise experience staying at this very nice hotel. The rooms and facilities were charming, and extremely comfortable. The staff were helpful, and the prices were very good, considering the completeness of facilities available and beautiful, timeless design of the rooms. Arrived Dubai airport at 5.10am, took Emirates bus to Abu Dhabi, arrived hotel mid morning, very tired. Hotel staff made every effort to provide an earlier check in. Hotel has excellent facilities. The staff was truly remarkable!!!! On bus line...but taxis are pretty
cheap in the UAE...shops,restaurants near bye. We were upgraded to a
suite which made our stay truly amazing!!! Great room! On the day of
check out, my wife was not feeling well and they were kind enough to
allow us to check out late...EXCELLENT Service experience!

I liked everything at Sands Hotel, It was really professional, clean, the staff were very friendly. I would like to thank Ms. Anam at the reception and Mr. Sujith the Cleaner specially who really take care of their guests. I like the view from my room at 16th floor, the SPA, the swimming pool at 17th floor, the live music in the second floor bar and everything. I really loved and enjoyed staying at sands hotel. Location close to many eateries + shops. City location.Taxis nearby so no problem. Valet parking (cheap all day parking AED15 coupon which can be used around the city). Friendly staff. Requests with extra bedding, towels, help with washing machine etc all fulfilled in minutes. -

It's very conveniently located, across the road from El Dorado cinema, three bakeries (one of which opens at 5.00 am!), and a 24h supermarket.
On the same side of the hotel, there are laundromats, small cafes (one I would recommend is Captain Puff Pastry....delicious and very affordable local pizzas...loved the Kraft and honey), and some sports shops.

- Staff were very friendly and professional. This is the first time we spend a whole week in the same hotel and that's because we felt welcomed. Everyone, from the Front Desk Manager to Gym staff including porters and parking staff, all were very nice to us and smiling all the time.

This is a very pleasant boutique hotel. Friendly, welcoming staff, comfortable rooms of a event size. The bar Vertical on the top floor is excellent, with live music. Nice coffee lounge at reception. A car lift will take your car down to the basement car park which I thought was pretty cool.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel which offered us real 5 star service.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rojan & leo was extremely nice
and helpful. Room was perfect, modern, well designed, comfortable and
nice view on the Abu dhabi. Nice Kids zone, my children enjoyed alot

The hotel was comfortable and the staff were helpful. The taxi
drivers are mostly friendly and helpful. Abu Dhabi is a pleasant
location and also has shopping malls and shops however, the best
bargains are in Dubai. -
