This hotel should be highly recommended. The rooms were excellent, the staff friendly and accommodating. Good menu at reasonable prices. Very Scottish feel. - The staff made you so welcome and they always had a nice work to say. The food was superb. Couldn't fault it.

I booked the hotel for myself and my staff as we where working from home, the Service from all staff members was excellent they seen to our every need, fantastic choice at breakfast cooked fresh the way we liked it every morning, Evening meals again delicious, I would highly recomend this accommodation to everyone -

The decor style was a nice try.
The food was lovely and there was plenty of it.
Considering they said it would be noisy the night we stayed our three year old slept like a log. We didn't hear a thing.

The staff were excellent with kids especially when we spent most of the
day in hotel cos it was raining & they catered 4 us at lunchtime
even though lunchtime was over they made sandwiches for us all &
even the kids making a noise didn,t faze them at all! A lovely scottish

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Our room was a great size especially as we had a travel cot. We were made to feel very welcome. - the friendly staff, the fact that the hotel accepted dogs, the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

We received a very friendly and helpful welcome, fairly late on a Saturday evening, when the hotel (and town) was very busy.
Throughout our brief stay the staff were excellent and the breakfast (the only meal we took) was very good. The dining room was very attractive too. -

Quiet location in an attractive street, with available street parking to supplement the hotel's own small carpark at the rear. Good quality cuisine in both the attractive main restaurant and the Bistro bar. Breakfasts particularly good and plentiful. Really helpful and friendly staff. -

Location, price, breakfast( although took a while to get served due to a wedding party and they seemed to serve those that arrived later first ). Would suggest 1. investing in a toast machine so people could help themselves to toast whilst waiting and 2. perhaps lay up the whole room for breakfast. We loved this hotel we stayed in a massive room bigger than our front room, My daughter had her own room and they had put a cot in our room to. The staff where really nice not a miserable person in site very happy to help if needed. View is amazing and the drive up is nice, Not to far from things to do with kids. We came to this hotel to look around as id seen itona site to get married and we love it and are thinking of using this hotel. The stair way is amazing, We spoke to a few people whilst

The hotel is fantastic it has not been modernised like so many others, it has a personality and character of its own. I would reccomend it to anyone. The grounds are beautiful and situated next to a dairy farm. We wanted a value-for-money place where we could arrive late and this was perfect. We had a double and 2 single rooms (allowing our grown-up sons not to share) for the same price as the budget chains with good facilities. Sleeping in the annex we were able to park outside the rooms.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Happy to arrange for me to have meals in room due to having my spaniel along, and even supplying a snack for said dog! When I was delayed due to poor weather, staff waited up for my arrival and gave me a lovely warm welcome at the end of a difficult trip. Basically, make me feel as if I'm visiting with friends.

The staff at the market inn hotel could not be faulted the hotel was nice for what we wanted. I liked that it was a small hotel, it was clean comfortable and the staff were very attentive,the food was excellent and good value for money, we stayed on a Sat & Sun night and although they tell you about the noise due to weekend events, we heard very little noise and our room was at the front of the hotel.
