Lovely room with the biggest and most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. Loved all the little finishing touches - choccies on pillow, homemade biscuits. We hadn't stayed in a B and B before but this was one of the most wonderful experiences from start to end. Ethna welcomed us very warmly and made us feel at home throughout our whole stay. Ethna is very friendly, with a lovely sense of humour as well as being very knowledgeable and helpful about the breath-taking surrounding area.

Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner. The whole place was fantasticly decorated to a high standard. Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. I found Lingwood Lodge to be very clean and comfortable, the
owners/staff were very friendly which means allot when you are on
your own, the room was excellent and the dining room and breakfast were
very good indeed, I had stayed as a stopover on the way back from

Great location near the Lake District, The Western Dales, and Pennines with many hiking trails and a great pub (White Swan) in a beautiful little village. The room (including the bathroom) was large and very comfortable. It is definitely worth the short drive off the highway and i would stay there again if ever back in the area. -

This lovely little guest house is by far one of the best we have ever stayed in. My wife and I stayed a few nights at The Ashberry Guest House. it is ideally located for both Penrith town centre and the North Lakes, northern M6 area. The owners are very helpful but not overbearing. The guest house itself is very modern, clean and comfortable. And the full English breakfast was very nice. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it.

Friendly, warm, genuine reception, they really make the effort to make your stay an enjoyable one. Facilities are really good with warm clean rooms. The location (in relation to walking distance to town) is great and the breakfast has to be one of the best I've ever had. I feel that it's more than a service that they provide, they have a genuine need to make your stay a good one.
