the catering was great the staff were very approacable and friendly and the room was spotless warm and cosy and a great place all round for a young couple - with in easy reach of everything.

I found Lingwood Lodge to be very clean and comfortable, the
owners/staff were very friendly which means allot when you are on
your own, the room was excellent and the dining room and breakfast were
very good indeed, I had stayed as a stopover on the way back from
Scotland and I will certainly book another room there. Very good indeed.
Also it was within easy reach of the town centre. I wish I had stayed
there on the way to Scotland. The service was excellent throughout and
would recommend it o

We liked everything. The cosy room with the wonderful lake view, the excellent location, next to the lake, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The owners such great persons, very welcoming and helpful. We loved the friendly chats we had after our freshly cooked breakfast prepared by themselves. It was a home to home feeling.We would

Modern but tastefully decorated with good quality bed linen.
Our room had a lake view and a nice big window.
Breakfast room was spacious and breakfast was cooked in an open kitchen which gave a great athmosphere.
Lovely little balcony to sit in the sun if you are lucky enough to get any!
Very clean spotless infact!!

This was a lovely B&B with very welcoming, courteous owners. Breakfast was exceptional, as was the value. The view from our room was stunning. A very short taxi in to Bowness made it a great location, close to restaurants but in a peaceful setting. I would stay there again without hesitation. -

Arrived at Lake View Guesthouse and was welcomed very well, had help up to room with luggage and room shown to us.
Room's were all of a good size, clean with comfy beds, a fridge which was handy and plenty of space to sit and relax, also good sized waldrobes and plenty of storage Bathroom was also a good size, clean and consisted of bath and showe

Delightful B&B. Homely, very clean and well kept, right on main high street near shops, with a variety of bars/cafes/coffee shops and restaurants to choose from for lunches and evening meals. Location couldn't have been better with everything within easy walking distance. Our room was at the front of the house, and we were surprised how large it was and how comfortable. Really welcoming proprietors; nothing was too much trouble for Dave and Manny. Breakfasts good with locally sourced food
