I found Lingwood Lodge to be very clean and comfortable, the
owners/staff were very friendly which means allot when you are on
your own, the room was excellent and the dining room and breakfast were
very good indeed, I had stayed as a stopover on the way back from
Scotland and I will certainly book another room there. Very good indeed.
Also it was within easy reach of the town centre. I wish I had stayed
there on the way to Scotland. The service was excellent throughout and
would recommend it o

Everything. The greeting on arrival was warm and friendly and the foodsuperb. The staff were wonderful and could not do enough for you. Arrived at Lake View Guesthouse and was welcomed very well, had help up to room with luggage and room shown to us.

Delightful B&B. Homely, very clean and well kept, right on main high street near shops, with a variety of bars/cafes/coffee shops and restaurants to choose from for lunches and evening meals. Location couldn't have been better with everything within easy walking distance. Our room was at the front of the house, and we were surprised how large it was and how comfortable. Really welcoming proprietors; nothing was too much trouble for Dave and Manny. Breakfasts good with locally sourced food

service - It was so close to to the amenities at Bowness that you could walk to shops, restauarnts, cinema etc with ease. It was literally yards away. The lake was further away but walkable. We have been coming here for several years now, and three things always stand out: the hotel's amazingly beautiful shore side location; the easygoing friendliness of all the staff; and the consistent excellence of the food, in particular the impressive breakfasts which would easily fuel the most energetic ramblers.

The hotel is superbly located by the lake with long vistas across the water. The three rooms taken by our party were excellent, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable and spacious. The reception areas, lounges and card room were likewise spacious and well-furnished. Real fires in the early Autumn give a special welcome. The staff were anxious to please and very pleasant at all times.The meals were very good with quality ingredients.

The views, the terrace and grounds over looking the lake, the space andold world charm, welcoming staff and we were fortunate to have a lakeside room. Nice to stay in on wet days when lounge available - The hotel was clean and modern, with fantastic views over lake Windemere. The staff were helpful, informative and friendly.

Modern but tastefully decorated with good quality bed linen.
Our room had a lake view and a nice big window.
Breakfast room was spacious and breakfast was cooked in an open kitchen which gave a great athmosphere.
Lovely little balcony to sit in the sun if you are lucky enough to get any!

This was a lovely B&B with very welcoming, courteous owners. Breakfast was exceptional, as was the value. The view from our room was stunning. A very short taxi in to Bowness made it a great location, close to restaurants but in a peaceful setting. I would stay there again without hesitation. -

the catering was great the staff were very approacable and friendly and the room was spotless warm and cosy and a great place all round for a young couple - with in easy reach of everything.
