Beautiful room, very comfortable ( best sleep I had on my whole trip). They were exceptionally friendly, they did everything they could to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was excellent. The house was beautiful and very nicely decorated. They made me a packed lunch as I was at a course all day. The rooms were very comfortable and had beautiful views. I would recommend this guest house to everyone, I would even suggest going on a holiday/break just to stay here!!

Everything, obviously the hotels in this area are pretty old but this one was very clean and comfortable was very picturesque. The surrounding area was beautiful. The hotel was on Browness and a perfect position.
We had the best room with an alcove facing the front where we had wonderful breakfast looking out to the street.

The Royal Oak is a great English Inn, the food was excellent, accommodation comfortable and the staff were superb. I felt really at home. The location was superb and I would recommend the hotel to anyone. I will endeavour to stay there every time I visit Bowness on Windermere. Thanks for a great stay.

started great with a parking space in their garage. Nice friendly meet and greet. we had our bags carried to our room which was nice. The owner made us some tea and brought it to our room also. The house has been lovingly restored keeping the original features,even the sash windows and shutters are still wooden. Breakfast was freshly cooked and hot. We would definitely recommend staying here to anybody.

The Hazeldene is a great place to stay. So friendly with nothing is to much trouble. We had not been to Lakes before and was given advice on places to go, Wow, It was wonderful. Everything from the cosy very well decorated room, warm hostess who was extremely helpful in finding activities and transport info. The location of the hotel is perfect, just a minute away from the lake. Breakfast was very nice and the access to the SPA at the Old McDonald is the cherry on top. We really felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel.

I found Lingwood Lodge to be very clean and comfortable, the
owners/staff were very friendly which means allot when you are on

The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was full and hearty. good enough to have a days walk on. he staff were only too keen to advise on what you wanted to do on your stay. - Breakfast was great and the owner was extremely friendly, very close to Bowness too. 100% recommended!! The suite was everything the photos and description promised it to be. The location is incredible with all of Bowness shops, pubs and fantastic restaurants at your doorstep. Also the pier to where the boat trips to the other parts of Lake Windermere was only a few minutes walk away, this meant that a car was not required for our stay at all. The

Bowness Bay Suites has an excellent location in terms of proximity to the lakefront and restaurants. The suites are very spacious, tastefully decorated and offer all of the necessary amenities and more (including a fireplace). These features made our stay very comfortable.
