The staff were all excellent and extremely polite. I have stayed at far
more expensive airport hotels and had much poorer service. The
restaurant food was very good, but the chef needs to learn a little more

This hotel was excellent for location,literally a 5 minute walk from the
airport. There's also a free shuttle bus from stand 2 that drops you
off within 100 yards of the hotel The beds were very comfortable We were
a late check in after a midnight landing at Luton, staff couldn't do
enough. We had a connecting filght at Heathrow back to Canada next day
and booked our seats in advance at the hotel, front desk staff offered
to print our boarding passes from the internet. Rooms were small but

I took my girlfriend away for the weekend, and we had an amazing time. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the facilities are very modern and clean. The grounds are well kept and I proposed to my girlfriend in the rock garden, which looks like something straight out of a fantasy film. I would absolutely recommend this hote

Wonderful historic building and rooms. Lovely setting. Wernher restaurant is quite exceptional. Golf course massive. Clay pigeon shooting top. Highly recommended as a historic and luxurious weekend.
However I think you need to be in the main building - you wouldn't want to be in the modern block - no matter how sympathetically designed. That would eliminate the whole point of the experience.

An Old fashioned "Pub" with an outstanding range of beer on tap - good food - and nice people to drink with - Everything worked as it should, staff were friendly. Woudl definitely go back.

I liked the whole experience of staying for two nights. The rooms were scrupulously clean, very well proportioned and very comfortable. The little extras like a notepad in the room or the tissues, soap and good sized towels in the shower room made you feel that you were staying in a much more expensive hotel. The staff were friendly and pleasant, particullarly the gentleman on
night reception who had to deal with unruly customers with very little
support. The bathroom was excellent with a large walk in shower however
it would be useful if we were informed on arrival that we had to request
bath towels from reception as these are not automatically supplied.

Very welcoming, spotlessly clean, lovely restaurant with good freshly cooked food. You have your own little cabin which is tastefully decorated. Beautiful views of the hillsides from your room and from the pub garden.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable.
Great location for visiting Whipsnade Zoo as we were still able to walk into Dunstable in the evening where there were several good pubs and restaurants.
Carmel could not have been friendlier or more helpful.

I had read reviews and I wondered whether it could live up to expectations. It did more than this. I enjoyed the peaceful location and took advantage of the close proximity to 'The Downs' to have a Sunday morning walk. Needed the walk to burn off the extra calories from the excellent breakfast. Carmel was wonderful. She took time out to talk to her guests and had a good rapport with everyone.

The Hotel was warm and comfortable. It was clean and the staff friendly
a good location to the train station and centre of the town. The room
was spacious and modern The only thing that I thought was wrong was that
the shower base started to fill up and wouldn't drain away I stopped
the shower and waited for it to drain away but I think there is a

with the drains. I reported it and the staff were very apologetic -
I noted the care and attention to detail in the presentation of my room. Well done whoever was responsible it really shows you a level of professionalism rarely seen.
Breakfast and evening staff were very welcoming and pleasant, again well done all.
This experience has really reinforced my already high regard for the Ibis hotel group.

it was not too crowded during the weekend and the price was excellent value for money. Also all of the above - The reception greeting was very good, better than some 5 star hotels we have stayed in.
