The room was extremely comfortable and quiet; the breakfast was excellent and on the night I ate there, the dinner was excellent as well. - Friendliness of staff. The location and the quietness. Food excellent. Room clean and spacious.

The welcome was superb, complimentary drinks mini bar and chocolate bar.
I know it doesn't sound like much but those little touches really do
make a stay more memorable. The staff were very helpful and the iPad

This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices

Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in. When booking the hotel I was expecting a very staid environement and was pleasantly suprised by the contemporary feel to the hotel. - Staff were exceptio

The Telstar was about the 15th hotel we had stayed in during our tour of England, and it was one of the best. Very reasonable rates, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable room, great wi-fi, excellent food and a clear commitment to the environment. Loved the friendly efficiency, the decor, the attention to detail and
the breakfast. I thought at first that the mattress was uncomfortable,
but then slept like a log, so what do I know! A few minutes walk from
the train station but only a short walk into town, so perfect location
for our needs. Thank you in particular for looking after our bag for the
day and for the very welcome cup of tea and rest in the lounge before
our journey home, even though we had checked out several hours before.

Hotel was easy to find, great for parking, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staff were first class, friendly and efficient. Food was very good with good range from bar snacks upwards, breakfast very good. Staff at golf Club friendly and helpful -

This was a nice friendly local hotel - although the building and surroundings itself was not all that attractive the plants outside were nice and there had been a lot of thought btaken over the internal decorations, such as some nice artwork. The staff were young but very nice. - I thought that the quoted room price was slightly high but the excel
