Just about everything!
Very nice well appointed room. High standard of cleanliness throughout with great attention to detail. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate , bottled water and fruit juice included.
Breakfast was excellent and served in a spacious conservatory overlooking garden. Lovely fresh fruit salad, good choice of cereals, juices and good cooked

This is a top place. It has all the little extras that you could hope for including luxurious bathrobe and chocolates. Room was spacious and garden was lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. Convenient bus into Exeter. Half Moon pub in local town excellent food and amazing value. Best kept secret and thank you to our patron for recommending it. Lovely walking area with great paths. Would definitely go back if we had the chance. Sorry to leave.

What a gem of an hotel! It was clean, comfortable and easy to find. The staff were welcoming, freindly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent, but thei coffee could have been better. The room was nicely furnished, clean and quiet enough to sleep well - there was some noise outside quite late from passers-by returning home as it was a Friday night, but nothing too disturbing.
The reception staff were pleasant and efficient; parking was secure and close by.
And I was particularly grateful for a proper ironing board! -

shopping centre, rooms were exactly what you need for a weekend break,
shower was poerful and hot. Breakfast was well worth the £8 you can
prepay to reception on arrival. One of the best breakfast buffets I have
had in a city hotel. Including ready made porridge.

Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous - they seemed happy to be working there. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable as well. The breakfasts were really good as well. Location was good, close to High Street and the Cathedral. A wonderful stay and would most certainly book there again. - Ever

The owners are charming and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay (2 nights) very much and recommend this hotel to anybody who want to be pampered.

The hotel room was really good, very spacious and luxurious.
The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the hotel and we were very pleased with the food.
Bottom line: it is not a cheap accommodation but in the end you get what you pay for. We would highly recommend it! -

Wonderful hotel with the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Staff extremely helpful. Hotel has great ambience. Excellent restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast. Cannot wait to return. - The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped and the food is always excellent

This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices

Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in. Staff (especially reception) were helpful and friendly. Room, although small, was well appointed and beds very comfortable. Good hot showers. Great location in Exeter.
