I loved the fact that it was so clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I also loved the fact that the showers and loo had dispense shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. Most hotels have little bottles with not enough. The room was cozy and modern and very comfortable. What a lucky find we had at Hillside House, such a friendly family team, who make you so very welcome.

What a super hotel with great service. We stayed in a double room, which was a very good size along with a good sized bathroom. The room was very clean and well furnished and in excellent order.
We found the service to be excellent, very friendly and helpful.
We only had chance to eat in their restaurant once, but the food was of a good standard. The open fire in the bar is so lovely!

This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices

Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in. Staff (especially reception) were helpful and friendly. Room, although small, was well appointed and beds very comfortable. Good hot showers. Great location in Exeter. And a better rate than other, most defiitely inferior, hotels and BandB's in the area. - My wife by chance met Michael Caines, who was so polite--we love his food.Have to say the hot

Hotel was easy to find, great for parking, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staff were first class, friendly and efficient. Food was very good with good range from bar snacks upwards, breakfast very good. Staff at golf Club friendly and helpful -
