My husband and I stayed for one night and were warmly welcomed. In the evening we had dinner with friends, and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Our room was very clean, and nicely presented. Set in a pretty village, with a lovely green and stream.I must thank the lovely staff who were so pleasant, and made us feel as if they were interested in what we had to say.We would not hesitate to highly recommend.

The Black Bull was a lovely place with a very comfortable, spacious, clean room and great breakfast. We had wifi too and a hair dryer and ironing board. Very friendly attitude from bar & kitchen staff. Rooms good size with en-suite facilities. Separate access to hotel for use when pub part shut. Good filling breakfasts and evening catering had a good range of options with large portions. Off street parking at rear. Helpful & friendly staff.

We received a fantastic greeting and, throughout our visit, excellent personal service from all the staff that we encountered.
The standard of the evening meal, food and service, was very high to the point that we would definitely see this hotel as a 'destination' for a future visit. The breakfast hamper delivered to the room was a novel but very good touch.
