We have just returned from a short trip to North Yorkshire. Having read only "excellent" or "very good"reviews from everyone who had stayed there, we chose The Village inn ,Brompton for our accommodation.
The welcome was warm and friendly and all of the staff were extremely helpful and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring that our stay was a great experience.We ate in the restaurant both evenings as the food was both well presented and full of flavour.Our room was spacious and clean and the . όλα τα σχόλια »
My husband and I stayed for one night and were warmly welcomed. In the evening we had dinner with friends, and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Our room was very clean, and nicely presented. Set in a pretty village, with a lovely green and stream.I must thank the lovely staff who were so pleasant, and made us feel as if they were interested in what we had to say.We would not hesitate to highly recommend.
The whole experience, was extremely satisfactory from begining to end.The staff were all very professional and friendly.Food first class. Which was evident as for a Monday evening was completly booked out.
Had to depart for a meeting, so did not spend enough time there. Unlike my partner, who had a marvellous walk around the lovely countryside, then had some lunch at the village inn.
Staff were very friendly and the chalet type accommodation was well decorated and spotless. Felt like our own little house! The food was tremendous and really great value. Steak nights Monday to Friday and 10 oz for £10 had the restaurant packed with a great atmosphere. Cannot recommend this venue enough.

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We had lunch and dinner and thoroughly enjoyed both - great menu. Room was very comfortable and clean. Very good value and far better than some of the 4 Star hotels I have stayed in!!.
the rooms were very clean ,and of a good size. Staff were very friendly. We went for a night away with friends and to have a drink and meal ,the evening meal was perfect and great value .would highly recommend.gem of a place.

The whole experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, we had meal in eve in the 'Pub' which was better than average. Rooms were roomy and very clean. Tea making facilities were good.
Efficiently run, the staff obviously enjoy their roles. Good, well priced food and drink, and a friendly welcome. The Village Inn is a credit to its owners, and its not often you can say that.

The food in restaurant on an evening was very good. Breakfast was good but not excellent. Room spacious and clean, comfortable bed. Staff helpful and friendly. Definitely value for money.

Has a very popular restaurant with good food well frequented by locals which is always a good sign. If staying, make a restaurant booking to ensure a table when you want it.

I have to say the one issue I had, was the mattress.
It really was like sleeping on a board.
So hence did not get alot of sleep. Pillows for my liking too thin.

I arrived half an hour before check in time was supposed to close, so it was rather disconcerting to find the place empty. Fortunately someone answered the phone after it had been ringing for a minute. Could also do with a few more veggie options on the menu.
Checking in was a little 'different' as had to be done over the bar during a full evening service. Maybe arriving in the afternoon it may have been different.
Beds very hard, but some people may prefer that.
