  I found the hotel to be well presented despite reading reviews of the rooms being dated. I also had a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the park which was exceptionally quiet despite reading reviews about noise. When booking, if you are looking for a room away from street noise ask for a room over looking the park at the rear in 'Special ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » Instructions/Requests. - Great breakfast with a very good range of options. Helpful and pleasant staff. We had an internal room & although there was no natural light, it was silent so we slept brilliantly. It was a good size and had everything you would expect. The location is great: very central and it is easy to walk to all the attractions of the city.

  Clean, efficient and beautifully decorated hotel and restaurantw with tables in and out, Very close public bathing pier on the Fjord which is nice and quiet AND the staff kindly accepted to cater to our (annoying) triathletes' needs! Travelled with two older kids the space and additional beds are adequate. Location provides views of of the Fjords and next to a small river. Best if you drove as public transport are limited. Breakfast is generous for Norwegian standard and served in house restaurant which also serve Thai food. Value considering Norwegian prices is good.
