  The staff were pleasant and helpful without being pushy. My room was of a good standard and comfortable. The self service breakfast was good and catered for most tastes. The breakfast was great, good selection of bread, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, pastries and fruit juice etc. The beds are very comfortable, I managed to sleep well even with a bad back.   The staff was very helpful, I booked a double because those where the any ones still available on the website but when it became apparent I was a solo-traveller they booked me in a much cheaper single with nice view of the harbour. - Good location, fairly basic room but clean and comfortable. There is a bus (2) which is about three blocks away that goes to Stavanger centrum in about 20 min. The Kvadrat shopping center is a 5 min. - At one third of the going rate for hotels in this town it is not surprising that it is booked up well in advance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it and I hope they build a few more there.
