The owners Eivind and his wife could not have been more helpful and they
spoke perfect English. We chose the cabin/room and although quite
small, was lovely and warm and clean, good shower and little kitchette
with fridge. First evening meal was served in their Gapahuken restaurant
which has a fantastic lakeside (frozen when we were there) setting

beautiful inside and the reindeer steak dinner (persoanlly cooked in
front of us by Eivind) was superb - one of the best meals I have ever

The uniqueness of a country-side establishment that offers space, freedom, with great staff, good stories about the area,a sauna and spa, and the flowers as it was summertime.
The Husky team ride, the dogs. /and of course the restaurant with excellent food. The cloud berries picked early each morning .
It was a genuine and natural 3 days . I've marked the facilities as good because there isn't a very good, but if it is good enough for the Queen of Norway to enjoy time here, it is good enough

Friendly helpful staff - We were the only guests in the hotel which meant we had good use of the pool and sauna. We were asked if our daughter wanted her own room when we arrived. Beautiful view from room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let us do our laundry even though they didn't have public facilities. The breakfast buffet was very nice and had many items to choose from. -

We arrived rather late and nevertheless the owner cooked dinner specially for us.we sat there - just the two of us - in the dining hut and had fantastic selfmade moosestew... it was incredible. There were so many details in the sleeping hut as well...everything made out of natural stuff but without sacrificing comfort...stunning!!! -

the unbelievably friendly staff made us (my mom and me) feel at home at once. the most friendly service i've ever got in a hotel. and the food we got served for dinner.... delicious.... the breakfast .... fabulous.... this Hotel gets a 10 from us and we are coming back :).

Very modern looking hotel, staff quitely efficient and went about their jobs without being in the way. The sea view from our room was great and allowed us to (just about) see the Northern Lights from the comfort of our warm room.Very impressive choice at the breakfast buffet.

Excellent value for money, probably the cheapest place to stay near Nordkapp. We even got an upgrade to a 6 bed room.
Breakfast was very good, with one of the largest food choices I have seen in Norway.
Very clean, considering that bathrooms are shared. -

Excellent starting point for activities such as northern lights safaris, dog sledding trips, etc. Nice room but a bit small. Very good breakfast. Good position at the end of the shopping street. Good view of the new cathedral. -
No surprise: you get what you should be getting from a fairly expensive hotel

The big cottage with own bathroom was very nice, clean and well equipped. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
