The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let us do our laundry even though they didn't have public facilities. The breakfast buffet was very nice and had many items to choose from. -

The owners Eivind and his wife could not have been more helpful and they
spoke perfect English. We chose the cabin/room and although quite
small, was lovely and warm and clean, good shower and little kitchette
with fridge. First evening meal was served in their Gapahuken restaurant
which has a fantastic lakeside (frozen when we were there) setting

beautiful inside and the reindeer steak dinner (persoanlly cooked in
front of us by Eivind) was superb - one of the best meals I have ever

The uniqueness of a country-side establishment that offers space, freedom, with great staff, good stories about the area,a sauna and spa, and the flowers as it was summertime.
The Husky team ride, the dogs. /and of course the restaurant with excellent food. The cloud berries picked early each morning .
It was a genuine and natural 3 days . I've marked the facilities as good because there isn't a very good, but if it is good enough for the Queen of Norway to enjoy time here, it is good enough

we had a very nice small Chalet (small hut) for 2 with a small kitchen an bathroom. We were very surprised because it was all so nice. The Food in the Restaurant was very good, breakfast was also great (extra-pay!) Good hiking-possibilities and also Alta is quite near (when you are there with car!) -

Excellent starting point for activities such as northern lights safaris, dog sledding trips, etc. Nice room but a bit small. Very good breakfast. Good position at the end of the shopping street. Good view of the new cathedral. -

helpful staff excellent breakfast and a comfortable room.
As there was a room available we were able to check in early which was greatly appreciated. -
just a nice place and fit our needs nicely. I think they do a great job looking after the needs of the traveler.

Excellent value for money, probably the cheapest place to stay near Nordkapp. We even got an upgrade to a 6 bed room.
Breakfast was very good, with one of the largest food choices I have seen in Norway.
Very clean, considering that bathrooms are shared. -

I had a fantastic stay here. The cabin was excellent, although much larger than I needed on my own. It had all the facilities you need for a long stay -- I was very surprised to find that I had my own personal sauna!

Value for money. Friendly staff. Good location. Clean and comfortable cabin with sauna. Quiet. We visited out of season so understandably some of the sites facilities were not open but I think when fully open the facilities would be really nice (lavvu, grill, saunas, hot tub etc). Short distance to Karasjok sentrum and the Saami Park. Plenty of space in the cabin (one bedroom cabin).

We enjoyed very much our stay at Gamvik Gjestehus! The food was very good, the owners extremely friendly and co-operative, the room was just ok, the location and view were great and the whole atmosphere relaxing and cosy.
